DXM Extraction question

I bought some robotussin pills with 15mg of dxm in each of them and it is the only active ingriedient. the back reads like this Dextromethorphan HBr, USP 15mg.
Could i extract the DXM using the same method that i would with sucrets or is there another way? or should i just swallow em?

I would just swallow them. I'm not sure you could easily remove the gelatin without losing a lot of the DXM. Do it with a glass of water to avoid the stomach problems some people have when swallowing handfuls of gelcaps.

Yeah, extracting from gelcaps is pointless. Like milking a cow with a bucket full of milk next to it. Just swallow the pills and you'll be all set.

Extracting pure chemicals from gelcaps is fucking with a great many very smart people right now. It can be done, but for the purpose you intend, it is not needed. Just eat them.

holy fuck i had a great time last nite. it was almost more intense than tripping shrooms. For awhile i thought i was a computer and was talking like Stephen Hawking. It was insane. I love DXM!
