Hi everybody,
I'm new and wanted to introduce myself. 18, based out of DFW and enjoy independent films, swimming, coaching, poker and the infamous MJ of course. In college at the moment, and loving it to death.
I guess the reason I decided to broaden my MJ horizons through the online venue was community. My absolute favorite thing about MJ is the connections associated with it. I mean, through MJ, I've met so many people who I probably wouldn't have met otherwise. For instance, this summer, I smoked with an immigrant from Turkey, a fully practicing Pagaan and a guy recently out of prison (I guess rehabilitation only goes so far... lol? ) I loved how not only people on weed seem to be more lax, but liberal to ideas of all sorts. The thing I learned was that smoking, no matter where you come from, is a way to connect to practically anyone. I was facinated by all the different rituals associated with MJ!
In DFW, we throw around terms like joint, bong, schwag, hit, high, blitzed, fucked up, etc... but everytime I learn a new thing through MJ, I find myself wanting to know more... and get high lol. For instance, I have my "smoking ritual" of getting home from class, warming up some food, rollin' a J and sitting back in the pool with some friends. But there's other people out there who drop off their kids to school and pull out their pipe, or jump for a "bathroom" break from their cubicle in the 30story building downtown during the 8hr day- I just find myself amazed over and over again how very unrelated people on the surface, are related in more ways than they know.
Anyway, that's my intro rant and I'm eager to meet more people here. Happy to be a stoner and hope to tell/hear more stories with guys.
