Home made insecticide? Prevention?

I dont want to spray my stuff with any crap. Is there anything I can do to prevent and kill before I even start this grow. Better safe than sorry. Can I mix cayenne pepper with anything. Any good products off the shelf?

doesn't hurt to ask. it just hurts to not look for yourself...

It's the people that ask simple simple questions.. and expect answers...

Yeah, Gotta learn to look first. I have learned so much over the last month. Gathering my equipment and all that stuff. I could almost write a Guide for NEWBIES, I have asked all the questions and found out that Google and the book store and this board is the best thing I can do
