View Full Version : SHOULD I RIP HIM OFF?

About 7 years ago I loand this guy £30, he said he'd have it next pay day. He then proceeded to duck me for the next month, the next thing I heard was he had moved back to his home town. It would have cost about 60 quid to get down to where he lived and track him down so I just chalked it up to a lesson learned.
That was untill I met him last week. He is back in the area and seems to have forgotten about the money. Theres no point in asking him for it back after so much time but he has asked me to get him some salvia. Should I forget it and not lend him money again or should I rip the fucker off and charge him double?
I have a long memory

"Shot in the back by Buford Tannen over a matter of $80! What kind of a future do you call that?"

Leave it to the Doc to put things in perspective.

just be an asshole about it.

Request collateral that is worth at least 10 times more than the loan.

And charge 200% interest.

If he asks why, tell him it's because his credit rating got shot to shit.

"Yeah, no problem. I'd be happy to- oh. Yeah. It seems that our system shows that you were a cocksucker seven years ago, and you never made up for it. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to fuck yourself."

Karma, just play it calmly. Maybe he simply forgot and just ask him for the $50. If he denies it or refuses, just don't get him anything. Something in the ballpark of $50 USD (Rough conversion) is not worth getting all crazy about.

Dont rip him off.
Whats the point, theres a lot of stories out there as to why and how things happen, but dont lend him anything again.
In fact dont lend anyone anything, neither borrower nor lender be.

I think telling people face-to-face is much more effective (and downright embarrassing for them usually) than just cheating them in return. People get away with what they can. It is the job of the honest to raise awareness of this. Tell your friends and suppliers about him. A lifetime without weed is a much scarier reality than just one short bag.

if you rip him off you are just being the same kind of asshole you think he is, and he won't even know why you are doing it probably. Ask him about the cash, if he forgot then remind him, if he pays you back then it's over, if not then that's the end of dealing with him. The universe dishes out karma, it is not up to you or any of us to personally decide.

Just cost him the regular price plus what he owes you. If he asks about the price tell him that he owed you money from seven years ago, and that if he wants to continue doing buisness with you that he better pay up. You don't have to sink yourself down to his level and rip him off. Be the man with balls and confront him, and give him the option. If he refuses to pay up don't get pissed about it and start a fight. 30 bucks isn't worth a fight.

Think of it this way..... for 30 bucks he's out of your life forever, and you're never going to have to loan him money or deal with him again.

Karma is real.

I wholeheartdly agree with this sentiment. It's hard to do at times.....but you're a bigger person for it. But then again,,,,I try to lead that sort of life and I always get screwed for being the nice person in the end.
