anybody know some trippy electronic music?

well, I've listened to nothing but metal since I got into music when I was 13. but, one night I got really stoned and went driving with someone, and they were playing this really trippy, kinda trance-like electronic music. I was just wondering if anybody knows any of this sort of music. I absolutely can't stand that bouncy, dance-to-the-beat techno crap. just looking for something that could help put me in a relaxing, trance-like state.

and the song is Agenda suicide by The Faint... all of there songs are good, and it's not even that much about sex really... the titles are but when i listen to the songs, it's just nice electronic music

also, the song " pepper " by the butthole surfers is really good... i'm not sure if theres too much techno in it, but it has a electronic feel

any gorilla song also...

depeche mode , there songs "tainted love" and "personal jesus".. that's slower techno-electrock though, it's good though

Ok everybody DJ Tiesto is the answer to your question. He is the #1 trance dj in teh world. I listen electronica ALL the time and I"d recommend Sparkles Transa Remix, North Pole by Solid Globe, Requiem for a Dream by Leama, and a really nice Euphoric electronic song that isn't really trippy but very happy and relaxing is La Noche. I'd recommend you listen to all of these if you can I'm sure you wont be disappointed. ANYTHING by Tiesto or remixed by Tiesto is amazing!!!! You don't even gotta be high to enjoy electronica it is teh coolest genre of music if you give it a chance.

I'm telling ya, you guys should get E-Jay Clubworld if you have a PS2. They have it where you create music, or take on their pre-existing songs, for clubs in cities around the world with different styles and instruments, all kinds of vocals. It's a game put out by a DJ (Carl Cox). A lot of people said they like Trance, or whatever, this game has that, House, HipHop, Ambient, Drum & Bass, Acid and Electro, Reggae, and Techno. With Royalty-free samples to create with.

joe satriani is an amazing guitarist, i wouldn't doubt if he was an alien...lol. check out the chemical brothers, whether you like techno or not - these guys will make your brain mush. it's pretty righteous. also, if you have the connection or time download their video, star guitar.
