A joint rolling pictorial

Not everyone is perfect at rolling a joint so I would like to take this time to show you how to use one of those nifty cheapo rolling machines you can pick up at any head shop.

First you need one of these babies. You can get them for around $5 so theres no excuse for not owning one!

Notice how it is snaped into the open position.

Next we fill it with one of our favorite tobaccos. Mine happens to be Marijuana.

Be sure to pack it in there. Nothings worse than a droopy joint!

Now snap it close, dont be afraid to use a little force.

Now the tricky part - You need to slide in a pice of paper gummy side facing you and roll down to suck the paper into the back of the roller. It may seem confusing but its really quite easy once you get the hang of it.

Keep rolling towards you on the nearest cylinder.

When you get to the adhesive be sure to get it nice and wet.

Now just pop it open and enjoy your hard work.

Yeah for the price you cant really beat them. You can drop in a filter also, and you can roll a cone by just poping in once side and leaving the other out.

Just lean to roll by hand, these things are not made for sticky icky, they are made for dried out tobacco, they are good for a small quick roll, but they burn like shit and usually make it hard to hit. Take the time to make a nice roll kids, its really not to hard at all

I would have to disagree with you saying they burn like shit. With the ones I roll they smoke exactly like a cig. As you can see in my last pic I put in a rolled up piece of paper with a small hole that acts as a filter to hold on to without actually filtering.

They also roll much tighter than you could ever do by hand unless your some super professional roller.

I used to just roll a cone and then pack my weed in but it took forever. With this I can roll one in under 20 seconds.

Rolling by hand is a gift, i only ever roll by hand 8years of practise has defintly made perfect, everytime we have a joint the bud get past my way to roll up, ive never rolled with a roller but i might give it a go just to see how they end up

Ahh yes you're one of the lucky few. Being a new smoker I've always had a hard time rolling short of spending 10mins rolling a nice little cone, then stuffing in a filter, then stuffing in all my weed nice and tight.

Dunno if this help but heres a little tip you you Epic, before you even start to roll the joint have a little cardboard filter all ready rolled up just hold it in ya mouth untill its time to use it, when your rolling the joint roll the paper around afew times to get the shape you want also it'll help tighten up the herb..insert the filter then roll it and lick when ya stickin the gum part onto the rest of the paper be sure to roll it extra tight on the filter end... let the gum dry then give it a roll between ya thumb and other fingers that'll help fill in any empty spots you may have in the joint

I agree. Anybody, with the exception of the disabled, that cannot roll a decent joint by hand should be drummed right off of this board, lol! I usually prefer pipes, and knowing how to properly clean the herb also comes in handy when preparing a fresh bowl.

rolling a joint is easy as fuk. ur not gonna frame it ur just gonna smoke it so if ur just startin out dnt try and make a masterpiece just sumthing smokable. i dont wt idiots roll a cone first and then puts in the weed and roach but thts just long ting. roll smokable joints and in time theyll get better and better. and use ur own technique its easier thn tryin 2 copy sum1 ova the net.

I only have full use of one of my hands, no way I could hand roll. I have a little automatic roller from zensmoke. It looks like a shiny silver box and when you open it the roller is inside. Paper it, pack it, lick it, close the box and the rolled joint pops out of the top when the box closes. It's like having a joint-in-the-box.
