firemen are cool....
when i was living in a flat with my mates we grew 1 plant just using sun light...and there was a big fire in the corridor a couple of floors down so we woke up to people screaming and obviously just pulled on trousers and ran past the fire and outside completly forgetting about the plant....

the police and fire peeps came and the firemen went into each flat to make sure it was all good....he obviously saw the plant sitting on the windowsil came back outside and said if theres anything you want to hide before the police look round then well let you go in before them to get your clothes and shit(we couldnt sleep there that night)....so we grabbed the plant hid it and everything was happy.....and thats my story of the nice fireman...

I agree. Fuck the police. Fuck the CIA. Fuck George Bullshit. But the fire department saved my dorm from burning down last week, so I got no beef with them. They aren't the ones driving the War on Drugs. If you want to blame anybody for cooperating with the police and the government bureaucracy on this one, blame the media. The mass media pretends to be neutral but they never portray harmful government programs as harmful. They always have to portray the government opinion as potentially true, because if they don't people will accuse them of being anti-American terrorists who hate freedom and want to kill people blah blah blah. But of course they can shut out minority opinions that oppose the government position, like the cannabis legalization issue, whose arguments are nowhere to be found on TV or in the newspapers. Questioning majority opinion doesn't make you as much money as praising them, and since the media is controlled by corporations looking for profits, you won't find serious analysis of majority opinion in the mass media.

But of course nobody is non-biased and nobody should pretend to be. We need to just admit our biases and express ourselves accordingly, and let people make up their minds for themselves what the truth is. The "non-biased" media is a sham, and we need to expose it for what it is.

Sorry for going off on a tangent folks. I am stoned out of my gourd. But umm yeah, my point is, don't dis the fire department, I guess.
