I used to be goth, I am a cosmetologist. I have the wardrobe and skill to come out looking like dracula's mistress in under an hour. ;-)
Goth is ok if the style you choose suits you and is done well, practice some more or find another genre. I think if you paled your face, did less massive black on the eyes, added a lightish lipstick and got some nice muppet hair extensions you would rawk the gawth like a little lost dead girl.
