Growing outdoors pot vs the ground

what is safer to grow in a pot? or the ground. also what should i put into the pot should i use soil from the ground? or what also should i ad perlite and vermiculite. any answers appreciated cheers :D

yo man i have myne in pots and that worked out fine wut u shud do is plant them in 1 1/2 gallon pots then transplant them when the roots form into the biggest pots you can find . and you want to have them in potting soil cuz sumtimes the ground soil isnt good . but thats wut i would suggest and you shud germinate your seeds before you put them into the pots so you kno wut ones are gunna work alright pce
