No Sprout WTF

Ok it's been about 5 days since I planted this seed that I got in a bag of bud I had. As of now nothing has come up there isn't a sprout and it's been 5 days!! What am I doing wrong??? The seed was in tact and looked fine to me. I'm growing in a cup and after it sprouted I was planning on moving it. Plzzzzz help me. It should of sprouted days ago???

Some time it takes 7-10 day's to sprout. Sometime it never sprouts that's just the way it is. Are you germinating using the paper towel method?

Always squeeze the seed firmly between thumb and index finger PRIOR to planting or trying to germinate.

If it doesnt crush, its a good seed, suitable for germin...unless the weed had mold in it. Mold usually starts deep in the bud and the seeds are the first things the spores try to feed off.

When I soil germ....I wait about 7 days...if nothing, then I gently...oh so ever gently...move the dirt from where the sprout should be and see if I can find any sprout growing.

If not by 7 days, the seed was bad.

OK it has been 6 days and I moved teh dirt off the top of the seed to see whats going on and there is a white root growing down now. But still no plant has sprouted up instead there is just a white root growing down. For some reason teh seed keeps working it's way up to the top and exposes itself and I have to cover it back up again with dirt. Why does it do this?? And also what do I do next...I need tips and suggestions. For some reason a plant hasn't sprouted up yet. :(

my seeds did that leaves were still inside the seeds so i just saw a very small stem poking out throu the soil then the seed eventually cracked open n fell off exposing the small round leaves (don't know technical term for them) hope this helps!

Don't pull the open seed off...let it fall off as it grows.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND ANYONE CRUSH THEIR SEEDS BETWEEN ANY FINGERS!!

The term gentle force can and will vary from person to person and you run a great risk of damaging your seeds.

Common sense must prevail.
