Hey ya'll.

Recently my wife and I went to a Poison/Kiss concert and rediscovered our lost love of the reefer. The only problem is that we just moved to the Dallas, TX from Waco, TX and don't know any supplier nor really do we want one.

I am new to this web-site and I have a couple of questions.

1) I see that there is this legal bud stuff being sold by some herbal suppliers or somethings. Is that stuff any good or what? I personally doubt it is any good, but its worth a try if it has the same effect.

2) If I buy seeds off one of these web-sites, how is it legal to have them shipped here in the US? Won't the government crack down on all that? Will they track my order to my place? I am just being overly careful here.

3) If I do decide to buy seeds and grow it, what is the best type of seed to get? How easy/hard is it to grow a plant?

im pretty new here too but the ppl here r cool, im sure you'll get alot of replies, and better answers than i can give you but i'll tell you what i know from what ive heard and from experiance...

Cannabis Alternatives and herbal highs.... from what i know, there are a couple that are ok.. but alot either dont do anything or are just crap nothing compares to real weed.. so in my opinion, find someone who can hook u up or grow your own :D

As far as i can tell, you wont get busted for ordering seeds.. and im sure the government have more to worry about than someone ordering a few seeds for personal use.. and even if they were concerned, i doubt it would be easy to catch anyone out.. normally seeds come on Jewel boxes (cd cases) and stuff like that and are pretty well hidden in the packaging anyway.. sometimes you literally have to shred the packaging apart to find them.. sometimes they may actually be IN the cardboard itself lol.. as far as in the UK goes, which is where i live, possessing cannabis seeds isnt illegal, but as soon as you plant them you can be arrested.. doesnt make sense to me... you get ads in the back of legitemat magazines here for companies selling seeds.. i dont know how that translates to in the USA though, but im sure buying seeds isnt really a big deal.. :)

i cant really tell you much about growing though, as ive never done it myself, i still live with my parents.. as soon as i move out im gonna buy all the shit i need and try and grow a plant for myself.. you need to invest a bit of cash first.. for Lights and a hydroponic set up etc etc. depends how you want to grow, of course.. and if youre growing outdoors obviously it would need to be secluded from prying eyes.... if you do decide to grow yourself, people here will be happy to give you advice so just post your questions and wait for a reply.. theres even a New Growers board, or first Time Growers board... :) ive been told if youre new to growing its best to go for a indica/sativa hybrid, so you get the growing qualities and different kinds of high from both strains combined.. anyway thats all the advice i can give you, but im sure you'll get alot of replies from more knowledgable people than me

just b careful who ur ordering from... theres alot of scammers and shit around u know? id advise u to ignore any posts u see on msg boards sayin shit like "hey i sell weed" lol ask around and find out some good, trust sites with happy customers and u should be ok..

Doctazayas, Welcome! The legal alternatives suck, seeds are illegal but it's not a big deal. Go to www.emeryseeds.com for the best and most trusted seed source and don't have them mailed to where you're going to grow (send them to a friend's who doesn't grow). I'm a newbie grower but I recommend a strain of White Widow because that's the easiest for a new grower. Check out all of the grow forums here for more info and good luck!

DO NOT GO TO EMERY SEEDS!!!! he takes ages to get your order to you, is more expensive than most places, and the general consensus for growers is he's a bad egg...... He also has a reputation for giving out WRONG orders

just get seeds from www.seedsdirect.to

theyre one of the best...... theres very few good seed distributors these days

Well, I got my order in less than 2 weeks, I got the right order, and he's not a bad egg, he's the one who started seed banks in the first place! The cost depends on which one of the seed companies you order from that he deals with. How can you possibly be against the originator? Herbalmedicine, have you ever ordered from him yourself or are you listening to someone else's bullshit?

And, I forgot to add that I ordered 10 seeds from Marc Emery and received 17! Yeah, that's really bad...what a bad guy. I'm sure a guy who starts the Marijuana Party in Canada wants to piss everyone off by not giving them what they ordered or bad service.

It wasnt the fact you said emery, we just told you seedsdirect was a much better bet..... and you came back and kind of argued emery was "just as good" in a sense, dont get on yer high horse about it, its advice for SOMEONE ELSE and the better advice is order from seedsdirect.... why else would i give a shit about making a deal not to order emery? cant you see I just dont want the newbie getting caught out? its pretty obvious......

3. White widow is good 4 beginners. Growing the sacred herb is not hard even if u have bad experiences growing other plants
