Well I started these two plants back in May or June and this is how far they've come so far. Do you think the one with the closeup pic is a male?

also they look healthy but lacking some sunlight

Well, its September the 6th today and my plants still live. Even with only 10-11 hours of pure sunlight during mid summer, they've grown tall. One turned out to be a male and the other is female. I was a little scared for a while that they were too close, so i tied the male down to the side a little bit and shook off all the pollen every time i went up to see them.

So ya hurray for outdoor growing!

why not pull the male? you're taking a chance on it messing with your female.
