Alright guys, I'm finally set on buying a vaporizer, but I'm having trouble finding unbiased information on which ones are good. Some of the websites selling vaps seem shady, which makes me think shady product. Let's get this post rolling with information everyone can turn to when/if they decide on buying one.

Tell about any experiences you've had with a vaporizer, whether it's yours, or you just got to smoke off one. Try to include brand information, how much nug you had to use, how well it worked, etc.

those are nice but the volcano vapourizer is hands down the absolute best but they come at an outrageous price(about $1000!!!!) but its worth every penny you put in a pinch of weed and you get this huge bag of smoke which after a couple hoots(the whole bag is like 10 hits) your more higher then you have ever been in your life. ive hit one about 5 times and every time it was amazing. if you want more info, google Volcano Vapourizer

There are two types of vaporizers. The first is the conduction type vaporizes the bud in a heated metal bowl(usually covered by a glass dome) . The second type is the convection type where hot air is pulled through the bud when you hit it.

I have owned both types and the 2nd, convection, type is much, much better. The first one I had was the BC Vaporizer and it was a piece of shit. Well, maybe that's a bit harsh. It did get me high but it seemed like it wasted a lot and I had to use a lot of bud, much more than just smoking it. I literally ended up throwing it away.

The second vaporizer, and the one I use now, is the Aromazap($100 delivered). www.aromazap.com This one is a convection type and is awesome. I only use a tiny amount of bud and one or two hits gets me really high. Of course a lot will depend on the quality of your bud. If you only have shwagg don't expect miracles.

The only problems I have with the aromazap is that it takes about 30~45 minutes to heat up. Not a huge problem but not too convenient. It can also get kind of hot on your lips. If I had to do it again I would probably go for a vapor brothers ($150) http://www.vaporwarehouse.com/store/shop.php?p=vb.html they heat up in 5-10 minutes and have a long whip to help cool things down.

Of course the volcano is supposed to be the ultimate vap but a little too pricey for me. But, if you've got that king of cash its supposed to be the way to go

as 420purplehaze rightly said, the volcano is king. but enless youve got a good $500 spare, your gona need to sell a kidney to buy one!

Yeah, the Volcano is just about legend, but it's too expensive for me.

Fengzi: thanks for taking the time to post all that info. I was actually looking at BC vaps, didnt realize they were conduction though, so screw that. That vapor brothers one sounds like it might be what i'm looking for, i'll definitely check it out.

I hear good things about vapor bros and i have hit out of both types of vaporizers like fengzi explained and the one where the bud was heated as the hot air goes through was much better.Once i have the spare cash im deffinetly getting a vapor bros one.

Vapor Bros is definatly the way to go, I've smoked out of one about 4 times now and its great every time. Very smooth hitting and very short heat up time. Also looks cool :]
