Help For Making a Bong

So I have this idea to make a bong out of a redstripe bottle and im pretty determined to do it...only problem is i really dont wana fuck it up. so any help or advice would be appreciated.

what do you mean advice? like you wanna know how to make it? just burn a hole about 1/4 the way up from the bottom and stick a metal pipe through theire and put a bowl on the end of the pipe, and about 3/4 th way up make a smaller hole to put you thumb over. seal the stem into the bottle with electrical tape and hot glue. same with the bowl onto the stem. a good bowl is a socket wrench thing. (ya know, those cylinder shaped metal things)

yeah what about using multiple bottles, whats something i could use to connect em that would work well...and what would be the best thing for me to use in order to have a rubber stopper there so i could just take out the bowl, thats what i was hoping for

what about drilling a hole? just using a coolant and everything?

as for the bowl, to take it out easily you need to make a bowl/slide assembly which is a tube that will be stuck in the bong, and be big enough for the bowl/stem asembly to fit inside, but not so loose it lets air come in

Look for a drill bit made for glass. And use real bong parts from a headshop, u'll be glad u did. Red Stripe is some powerful shit, one of my favs.

then you need tape, a drill and prererably a glass drill bit (regular will work, i think on low speed for both) and a bottle to apply a slow stream (not drips but not dousing it in water either) use masking tape and apply a few layers over the are to be drilled (completely around the bottle but the middle of the tape should be about where you wanna drill) once done, secure the bottle so it doesn't roll, pick up the drill in one hand and the bottle in the other, start the stream of water on the spot to be drilled and start drilling, go slowly, the faster you press it and with more pressure the chances increase of breaking.

what's the best way to make a bowl/slide set up besides buying one?

haha i was just jokin man, but what i meant was why not just go ahead and say what it was i need...beeing the pipes yeah im not new to smoking, ive just never made a glass bong, only like using a pen and a socket wrench head out of a coke bottle and i just used a carb for that but this time i want to have a bowl/slide system, so if u could be specific about what i would need to make that happen thatd be more what i was lookin for

the reason being, he can't tell you what pipes and shit your hardware store carries, nor where they are located...just use your imagination, stick wtih what you know...you say you usually use a bic pen and a socket, so use that....take a bic pen to the hardware store and find a tube that is just slightly larger than the pen (it should be easily moved, but not so easily it will slide down on it's own) find a grommet(sp?) (the rubber peice on the bowl/stem asembly to assure airtightness) as extra insurance if you want, but if you find the right peices it won't be nessicary

alright yall i appreciate it, one more question...i found a lot of socket wrench heads, like a toolbox full, and i was wonderin for some of the bigger ones what would be the best way or any sufficient way to make the hole at the bottom smaller so i dont lose weed

i know how to make a damn bong, hell i just made one ten minutes ago with a sprite bottle, a blockbuster pen (cause the hole gets smaller at thetop so i can use a larger socket wrench head) and made a bowl slide system on it with rubber bands n tape, and it smokes good...i just didnt wana fuck up cause i only got one red stripe bottle n i thought maybe some of yall might have areally good idea i coulda used
