What kind of bugs are these!

Sorry I don't have a pic guys but my soil have these little light brown colour bugs in it!,now keep in mind these bugs have been in my soil before and didn't seem to effect the grow!......Just wondering what they could be?

they are so small I don't think I could take a picture of them

They are never found on top of the soil and never on the stems or leaves always seems to be at the area of the drainage holes?.......they almost look those little tiny bugs that you see in a old piece of would,termite like! but so small you have to stare for a few minutes to see them move lol....I seen them before and thought perhaps they are little bugs from the old plywood I used for my grow box,but they could have been in the soil all this time without me really taking note of it.......they seem to usually be in the area of the bottom,even the soil that falls out of the drainage hole's and end up in the bottom of the grow box!...........it doesn't have wings looks like a termite like creature but perhaps 30 times smaller??????....not sure what they are any suggestions.........

do they ever fly? if so, then their probly gnats, they lay eggs in moist soil, cover the soil with perlite so it stays dry, cover the drain holes somehow too..they will be gone in about a week without moisture.

Nope they never fly! these bugs look more like a termite but so small you can barely see them,perhaps they are a good bug for the soil? they don't fly but crawl fairly fast for their size I did a search for pictures of soil pest but only came across avaible pictures of some bugs,and the pics that I did see looked nothing like the bugs I have......

Like I said they don't fly,brownish in color,even smaller then spidermites,even smaller then all the bugs I seen pics of.....

they hang around the spilled out soil that comes out of the drainage holes! they may have little antana's as well! but these bugs are small dude!

They're government bugs, sent to spy on you. They look like small insects, but really they have tiny cameras and microphones in them and they are relaying everything that's going on in your house straight to DEA headquarters.

look up Nematode, thats the bugs that live in soil, some do eat roots,and seeds. I think theres alot of differant ones.

I had them once,they looked like very tiny leaches,4 to 5 of them could fit on one seed.The entire batch of seeds never sprouted(white widow) after i complained to the seller they quit selling them, they must have infected the seeds..

Do they look like this? If they do they're called thrips. Bad assed little suckers. Can ruin an entire grow if not addressed. I had them and used a product called Concern. It's an insecticidal soap. You spray it on. They're less than 1/16" in length in their larval stage. If they get into the foliage of the plant you'll see newer growth with little yellow spots on them. When you look close you'll see some black spots also which is their crap. Here's another pic of what the leaves might look like or worse if they've gone to town on 'em.

Another good call, mentioning the black dung balls. Up till then I thought that it was dirt and that the lighter blotches meant I only had a case of mold growing.

Think my infestation may be spider mites tho, not thrips. But noticed them as what looked like mold on top of leaves.

Bugs were on underside of leaf.

Heard you can make your own pepper spray with 4 grocery bought hot pepper, a med. onion, and a clove of garlic.

Chop and mash them into some water, let it stew overnight, then run it trough a funnel with a coffee filter. Spray as needed.

2 applications though. One to get the current adults. Then again in a week or 2 to get those that were eggs when first spray goes down.

Either that or plenty of store bought products are designed for these pests.

MITES always win.. ONLY two ways to end the BATTLE for good.... ONE is this SUPER DUPER POISONOUS SHIT.. IT COULD KILL YOU!!!! NO JOKE..

AND YES, those are spider mites.... looks like you tried to spray something on them already.. maybe some oils.....

Don't ever let up on fighting them... NEVER..,. if you take one day off the fight, youâ??re fucked!!

Another thing.. spider mites may only reproduce at about 30-1000 new bugs per day if the temp stays between 60-70 degrees.. if you let the temp get above 80 degrees, the mites can flourish in numbers that I can't even mention.. cause you won't believe me!!!!!!
