i want 2 start flowerin asap, and 2morrow is the day, problem is that i have 2 600watt lights, one bulb, so my question is this, can i change the light cycle usein the flouros. my thinkin is in the day r so i use the flouros 2 flower, i might be able 2 distingush sex, b4 i put up the proper lights. make any sense?

and do u normally flush the plants grow nutes, r detox it(bring the nute amount down gradually)the plant, r just go ahead and start feedin the bloom r wait a few days just water, with water, and aft, say a week use the bloom?
any input truelly appreciated

I starting flowering about 18 days ago. Using only cfl's and strip fluorescents but quite a few of them compared to most. Went from vegging 24/0 to 12/12 flower. Took 10 days for the first one to really show me it was a female. Last one took 16 days to show for sure!! Now I don't know if it was because I was using fluorescents or if they were just slow but if I had an hps and could use an hps and not have major heat concerns in the area I have, I would've had it going right off the bat. As I reread your question that doesn't really answer it for you!

I don't think that in two days using fluorescents that you're going to see any signs of specific sex unless it's already started due to the maturity of the plant. I think it takes at least a few days to just get them acclimated to the light schedule change. But you might with hps. I don't have any experience with the big lights but know they really get things moving as far as growth progress. So with hps maybe you'd see sex in 2 days. Someone else will have to tell you that one. Sorry.

Flushing. I've read a lot on this subject and it really varies from grower to grower. One guy that is a med grower flushes his plants 4-5 times in their life. And his stuff is unreal. Super bushy and buds like you just can't believe. Other people don't flush unless they see something wrong with their plants, waiting till 2-3 weeks before they harvest to flush to get all the ferts out of the plants system. I flushed a plant I was having trouble with and all it did was...make it way more healthy! Plant has 26 different bud sites which is almost all secondary growth shoots. Course I lst'd this one as an experiment. Will do them all from now on as the difference it made is really somethin' else.

I would say if the plant has some issues with possible fert deficiencies/burn then I'd probably flush it before I threw it into flowering. Just with water to give it a nice clean drink and a good fresh start. Then go into your flowering fertilizer schedule after that. Also I've only flushed when the plant was pretty dry and ready to be watered. I felt that this was basically just like watering it then and not going to wilt it that bad because I just watered it a day or so ago and then hammered it with lots of gallons of water on top of a recent watering. Most suggest 3 times the volume of dirt for a flush so if you have 3 gallons of dirt use 9 gallons of water. I've done it with less though as the water was running pretty clear. The guy that was growing the meds suggested the last half gallon should be mixed with your flowering fert. A lot of others didn't suggest that but I couldn't argue with his results.

Sorry that was so long of a response. Not saying that what I suggest is perfect but from everything that I've read it represents what other successful growers have suggested and done.

some if not most of the plants r feminized seeds and seem 2 b showin signs of sex, females. the rest its hard 2 tell, but im sure from pics and starin through my microscope that i have most females which is great.

im startin flowerin 2morrow i had 2 give them a bit longer 2 veg, because instead of toppin them i cut the fan leaves of some, they have all recovered and have new leaves just above the original cuts.

LST means Low Stress Training. It's when you tie over the top of the plant to allow the secondary growth shoots to better be able to get light.

i flushed the last of the grow nutes by feedin just water the last few feeds slowly reducin the nute level, now ill just water 4 a few days and then start with the bloom, sensi 2 part bloom, very good, and the 2part gives more conrol imo
