Im just wondering who is going to be taking part in any of the gatherings at US consulates in protest of the DEA attempting extradition of Canadian citizens to face life imprisonment for their marijuana 'crimes'.
There are now about 40 scheduled worldwide as news of this action spreads and concerned people are stepping forward to be heard.
September 10 th - 17th
You can read more about the events at http://cannabisculture.com/articles/4494.html and take a peek at the posters Ive attached.
The more faces and voices the louder our message! Damn right Ill be there in Toronto.
I thought it would also be a good opportunity for some of us board members to meet up for a smoke and a great cause.
Take a look at the event list to find one in your area and step up for the cause.
Peace!

I know these events are not something evryone can see themselves attending for different reasons.
Myself, I wont be one of the folks holding signs and likely not chanting either. But by being there part of the crowd I will be showing I feel strongly enough about this issue to make the trek into the city to have myself counted and my voice heard.Ill be playing my drum and smoking for our freedom.
It is also a great opportunity to participate in a landmark occasion for our culture. Its a time for change and I want to be part of this moment in history and not just watch from the sidelines.
A bonus is having a few smokes and exhaling at the US consulate as a peaceful "fuck you " to the administration that persecutes us.
Its also a celebration of our culture, way of life, choice of meds and recreation and a way to show the world were just a bunch of peaceful folks who want to be left alone. But at the same time showing that if you dont want to leave us alone, and you wish to attack and persecute us we will take a stand and fight back in a peaceful way.
If you cant be there, or choose not to....spark a conversation or two and spread the word. And dont forget to spark a dubie or burn a bowl in commemoration of this historic series of events.
If your headed to TO and you wanna meet up email me and we'll have a smoke. medseeker(at)hush(dot)com
Peace!

This should be on everyone's "To-Do" list tomorrow.. i don't care if your grandma had a stroke and sparky got nailed by bus...This is a no brainer people. If The DEA gets away with this.. you can kiss your pot loving freedoms goodbye

Does anyone else find it weird that of all the cities (some of them quite small in fact) - Amsterdam is missing.
I guess it's sortof the typical self-centred mentality "I'm OK jack, too bad about your problems".
Maybe they're all just too stoned to care
