i havent, but my friend said he had a tablespoon of it, and he got quite the nice buzz on.he said it tasted sort of like liqourish, but then again this friend likes to tell stories, but people who were there said it was true

Tried it afew times, its reasonbly cheap over here when brought from a wholesaler, 2shots of it and i was gone had been drinking abit of vodka before i had the shots, once we feed our mate 4 or 5 shots and it was the funniest drunk moment ive ever seen got abit worried tho when he started frothing at the mouth, i heard that its pretty hard to come by in the us is this true?

It is very hard to get in the us. I ordered it from a french company and had it shipped to my house. We drank it and got really fucked up. We basically got the euphoria feeling. It feels amazing. It was around 80 for the bottle and it was worth it. I reccomend strongly.

80bucks is very steep, if i remember corectly it cost me about 40bucks from the wholesaler which is about 20 yankydoodle dollars

Its a drink very very potent drink, over here we have about 3 different types at the shops all diffrent alcohol levels the highest is 80% i think

Faust is (by legend) the devil's right hand man, or a demon, so I guess the title is trying to put an evil drink with an evil figure to enthesise both. Just a thought...

i got some RIGHT NOW from Ibiza and Tenerife i bougth a bottle from ibiza but it went quick so i got a huge bottle from tenrife its cost like £7

its real nice u gotta burn it and camaralize the sugar for maximum taste :D

Real absinthe, the original, is almost impossible to come by. Absinthe contains Thurjone which is simular to THC found in pot. Though it is a convulsant poison, its structer is simular THC. This thusly made it illegal in the states and most Eurpoean countries. Stories of the "green fairie" are false, the green fairie is the person drinking absinthe.

Absinthe found now-a-days contains small amounts of thurjone and will take large quanities to recieve any of the effects famous writers have mentioned. Vintage bottles are rare and are quite expensive.

i thought it contained wormwood havnt heard of thurjone but ya sound like u know something about it. i have tried it once did the sugar thing wasnt anything special just like strong spirit imo

I had a nice drink once, it was made in a pint glass. it was 2 double absinthe, 2 double vodka & 2 redbulls. It was £15 & it got me wasted.

A friend and myself brought back a couple bottles of 180 proof absinthe(the higher proof the more thujone that it is allowed to contain, 180 maxes that out) from Spain to the U.S. this summer. I think we payed like 15 euros per bottle at some old liquor store in Seville(sp). Anyway, it does smell and taste similar to liquorish, and if you drink it straight it pretty nasty, the after-taste is what kills. We did the classic sugar, spoon, water thing tho, and that helps alot with the taste. All and all, its a more euphoric drunk, and sorta lighter feeling than the normal heavy feeling you get when you are really drunk. I am thinking about ordering some 10x wormwood extract to smoke, to see if thujone alone produces any effects. Anyone ever tried wormwood by its self?

THe bottle we ordered was called king of spirits GOld. IT was 136 proof i believe with 100 miligrams of thujone. 100 is a lot considering standard is 10-30. We did the carmelized sugar deal and after about two "Louches" we were tripping balls. Most of us had great experiences but one of my friends decided to drink it straight. HE had 4 straight shots and had an extremely bad trip. (four shots after he was already very drunk) HE was basically fighting everything around him and just apoligizing and crying and having fits of rage. It was relatively scary. Luckilly we had a sober person babysitting him (holding him down onto a bed). I would recomend one of these and to not drink it straight.
