I get the fear really bad, when I've been at my mates house & smoked a lot & I have to walk home, in dark places I start running & i think somethings there.
How badly do you get it?

My bf has real bad paranoia, hes like what are you doing what are you saying what are you doing to me, why is he doing that, why is she saying that, whats that dude on about. he like freaks out and doesnt know whats going on, my other mate gets paranoia quite bad aswell lol he thinks the pigs are out and makes a plan how to get away from them lol

i thought "the fear" was what you got off other drugs (like shrooms) when you start getting bad thoughts and shit...

but yeah i get very paranois somtimes...
like last night (i have to walk everywhere so i walk to town and back) i was walking home from town (pretty damn stoned) and half way the street lights stop so its pretty dark especiALLY when there is no moon out.....
but yeah i felt a little strange when i was walking and it made me think of this time i was on shrooms....then i thought i was having a flash back or somthing similar....but i swear out of the corner of my eye i saw a womans leg skiting out of a granite wall...then later down the road and wolfs head sticking out some bushes...

i saw more stuff as well but i just realized id been typing for a while and have made my pooint.....yeah i get paranoid.

In absolute darkness, there is a part of me that knows that there are things out there that would see me killed in a manner most foul. Dark portals open up in alleyways, some dust on the breeze is the physical evidence of the nonphysical being, there is always something behind me too fast to ever hope of catching, and they're all named Carl. I guess that would count, but I never run. Running is for pussies and geeks.

That has happened to me before. It's easy for one's mind to become overwhelmed when indulging in psychoactive substances :)

The fear is any drug induced paranoia, short term, not long.

Paranoia can be a good thing, keeps you from getting into "too much" trouble ;-). Really the only time it affects me is when I'm driving home from my dealer a little buzzed from a sample, and I've got a sack in the car with me. Stop at a light, and the po-po rolles up beside you....thats "The Fear!".
