Thanks man. Today im goin to hydropoic shop and getting a 150HPS with ballast built into the reflector. Also does the 150HPS put off as much heat as a 400HPS.

try to get a 150 like the mini floralux... the ballast is built in and
it comes with a glass reflector and a hood with optional air cooled
flanges...

honestly i dont know how much heat a 400 puts out, but i plan to
upgrade to a 400 when i get some cash...

the 150 puts out some heat so be prepared to at least get some
sort of fan to cool the air in your cabinet...

for my setup i cut a hole in the back of my cab the diameter of
my fan and mounted the fan to the outside of the cab... pulling
air from outside the cab in and then it exits through the front since
ive got my cab rigged with a stopper so it doesnt close 100%
ive got the fan pointed so the air flows right under the light and
over the plants...

If your plants are 2 and 1/2 feet tall, when they flower, they will be at least 5 feet...maybe more....

Sorry but there is no way in hell that a 150W HPS will do these plants justice.

Yes you will flower but your buds wont be hard, fat and dense.

They will be like sprigs.

And few of them.

At least 250W or more is needed.

Well, yes and no. Yes, it will flower your plant, but as hard-on said, it will be a very low yeild and of low quality. Not worth all that time and energy you put into it. I would get a 150 bulb, and a 75 bulb for good results. I've used a 150hps for 1 plant before and the yeild was, ehhh...okay I guess, but not something worth my time and energy. So try and get more light, or grow only 1 plant under a 150hps, or don't let your plants get quite as big, keep them smaller. Good luck!
