Fine they took too long after knowing for days that this was going to happen, but now help is coming and now it's our part.

What are we going to do to help? What can we as Cannabis.com members do to make sure that this shit doesn't happen again? How can we help? Some of us don't have any money (such as myself) we can give a blanket we don't need. Pack some of those old clothes and shoes for someone to pick-up. Hell, if I had some extra smoke I'd give them some. I mean hell, have you seen the bodies floating in the fucking water. That's somebody's father, brother, mother or sister and they can't get to them because they're still into research and recovery.

The people of New Orleans were ORDERED to get out well before it hit. Some people CHOSE not to leave (we have been through hurricanes before no big deal rightâ?¦.wrong.) Now they are living with the consequences of that decision. It pisses me off because their children had no choice; rescue workers that are endangering their own lives had no choice. Most of the people didn't have the means to leave. Even if they walked 80 miles, it's a bunch of refugees running around. Either way these people would've needed food, water, and shelter. That's why it's the government's role to help these people who don't have the resources to evacuate. Not everyone has a car and money on their lap. Shit.
