View Full Version : How stupid do you think the DEA is?

I just want to bring up a point to everyone here. You may think you are chatting away open and free, having a great time and expressing your freedom. But I want to ask you, how stupid do you really think the government, the DEA, the CIA or any of the nasty international agencies are that they would not have one if not several active participants in these forums, chat rooms etc? Maybe it is not how stupid they are, but how stupid we might be.

I was just in a board and I am pretty sure I found a couple, or one as two. But as many here were befuddled that someone could be other than a stoner when they post here, I would proffer that only an idiot would think that "they" do not watch and try to participate as far as they can here. While absolute proof may be hard right now, knowledge is power. I only post this because I fear that others may not remember this is a publicly accessible bulletin board and anyone with an email can get in, and anyone with 20 bucks can be a cafe member, it does not mean they like to do pot, it could be they hate it and you and want to destroy us all. The government can pay the 20 to be a cafe member easier than us stoners.

Just a word to the wise, because I think I spotted a bird here, a yellow bird, what the Brit brothers would call a grasser, a bubbler.

So, it's dangerous out there in the US and they are bound to be looking here, so watch yourselves.

See, actually you are wrong about that. If you read the Patriot act, "disagreement with the laws of the United States" is a treasonable offence.

But, it is not to instill or expose some paranoia, it is to caution, not everyone here need be friendly to the cause. Take a look at the Bush hurricane thread. I dont know if I am paranoid, but I just think it very possible that not everyone here is on the side of cannabis. If you think otherwise, well, I guess I should tell you about this great bridge I have for sale. Ready for a toll bridge and millions cross it each day free in Manhattan.

OK, no joke. Here I am on this board only a month or so. I have some cred after 40+ years out there in the cannabis world, but I am here and no one cept some in the background know me, and many do not know this writing name as it is only in the UK. So, here we go, "what have we done."

Through the boards I already know of half a dozen members that sell "things" fairly open here and it is common knowledge. I donā??t want to further extend their names and make it even more blatant, but as easy as it is for you or me or anyone else, it is easier for them to do as they have more money to try. So, yeah, I even fear for a couple people whom I think do nice stuff here because it is easy to find out. For me, and for anyone wanting to get to that information it is easy.

So, what does anyone have to watch out for? Well, those that wish to be watching will watch from the warnings. Those that need pay no heed will need pay no heed. Pretty simple. And that is all I am trying to say. I am not paranoid as I live where it is totally legal to grow and smoke privately for my own use. I have about 100 plants in various stages all over. Have no fear for me.

Art, I must say after reading this thread and the hurricane thread, I respect your opinions a great deal and you seem a very wise and intelligent person. However, as someone who read and enjoyed the book 1984 perhaps I should be more afraid of you, the one touting against the government and warning us to be careful. I'd love to just talk to you and listen to your opinions of government etc, but maybe thats exactly what you want from us ;)

If you liked 1984, did you understand the politics in Wizard of OZ?
You will always find me interesting as I use documents not innuendo or speculation in what I say. Like, how about the corporation known as the United States kidnapped, imprisoned the elected queen of Hawaii, installed a puppet government, took all the countries assets over and made it a state against the will of the people and queen. Now, where would I get the balls to say the United States Corporation stole Hawaii from its natives? From their own books

http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/casecode/uscodes/20/chapters/70/subchapters/vii/parts/b/sections/section%5F7512.html

look up the case laws, these are US law, legal code. It is like a nightmare doc. Then come back and ask me what I meant about the Wizard of Oz.

I love to study.

I don't give to flying motherfucks about the DEA or the CIA, to tell you the truth. I'm out of their jurasdiction, and the jurasdiction of any police force in mainland England.

And even if they are here and they could do anything, well, all i've ever admitted to is smoking weed. So what? I admit that to anybody who asks.. everyone I know knows I smoke weed. I have nothing to hide. Plus, if the DEA has been an active member of this forum then maybe they'll see that stoners aren't so bad after all. lol :)

I, unfortunately, have no weed right now. I cannot find any in my area, and so I
*currently* have nothing to fear.

So come on over, have a look around.

Put please, don't bum OUR trip with this paranoia and argument. Let's all smoke a bowl, and chill the fuck out. (also, if anyone has a bowl they feel like sharing, I'd be much obliged- cause I ain't got no greens. ) :p

Art, as you see anytime you or any of us express even the slightest bit of caution towards people here we are immediately met with resistance to wisdom. Lots dont care, lots dont understand and are too macho to let any sensible caution into their minds. Many dont even read the post but feel the need to add their little rambles about how they dont believe anyone but likeminded freedom seeking partakers of the herb attend these boards. They label it paranoia and propaganda and dismiss it.
Those with a basis of common sense heed the words and appreciate the heads up and little reminders when they let slip. More often than not though, without reaching deep enough into the simple facts to extract the truth it contains, they complain of having been brought down , and buzz killed, etc, and spam a well intentioned thread with testamonials to their own imperviousness.
They simply dont take the time to read more than a few sentences before dismissing it all and moving on.
Perhaps they dont need reminders, perhaps they are too naive to understand, perhaps they just dont give a fuck about anything but their own buzz yet still claim to be part of a culture. These are the ones who are blind and cannot see the obvious.
Im not saying I subscribe to everything you say, but you say it with an intelligence and dedication I can respect and listen to and consider.
I appreciate your work and efforts for the betterment of the culture . We all benefit from each other...but only as long as we listen, share , and learn.
Just not everyone cares about that. They are the ones thanklessly catching a free ride on the backs of those who do care .
I am suprised at the amount of complacancy and flat out ignorance to the current climate for our culture . This board has all kinds, styles, and flavours of folks and only a large handful seem aware of the ground they stand upon. The other, well they are just floating on whatever cloud of smoke blows their way.

Peace.

I typed in "patriot act" into Wikipedia, but couldn't find this. It didn't have an exact copy of the document, but did list the key components, most controversial points, and amendments. The only controversian components it listed, however, involved the governments ability to aquire information secretly or otherwise. I have heard complaints about things like arresting people without charges, and things like your statement above however. Do you by chance have a link to a literal translation of it?

one could argue the same about Marc Emery toking in public. but the fact is, if we're ever to be liberated from such rediculous oppression, we have to stop living in the shadows leaving only the voice of the government to be heard.

The real deal at one of the sites I work for

http://onlinetv.com/nuke/gift/patriot-act.pdf

I appreciate that there are the good, the bad, and the ugly. More like Animal Farm that I would have anticipated. I think I should retreat to my own boards where a more serious user base would be.

I laugh, as I too was once totally oblivious and into my own buzz, fuck it all. As some have noted, I am in a place where it is fine and dandy, legal as shit and I have a stash all the time that would make me shit when I lived in NYC. I do not have to do a damn thing the rest of my life but smoke, smile, sit on the beach and hang with my young wife. But instead I care. She thinks I am nuts, and many here too. I know I am. But I care about being free and that you all remain free too. The truth is, a British paper paid me to write about why and how cannabis became illegal. When I saw, what you can broadly find at http://www.jackherer.com and reached deeper into the bank/oil cartel, then into the century old power structures, things became a bit shady. When I went deeper, studied banking, families, the pope, the cults, and bishop/kings whew... one realizes you cannot just sit back.

So, with that, please take time to read that document, Americans and Europeans. If you start to put that up against "inalienable rights" and the words "free" and "liberty" you will find something that rocks your world.

It is Friday, I am off to shower, pack up some big 8 inch buds and head to the beaches for sunset. It is time to enjoy life, I wish you all the same joy.
