Anyone else dealing with gas prices out the fucking ass? Yesterday I payed 2.99 A gallon for gas (That's a lot considering it was at like 2 bucks six months ago). I'm a pizza delivery driver so gas prices affect me quite a bit. I go to fill up at the gas station across from my work and the gas was 3.49 For 1 Gallon of the cheapest shit! 3.49!!!!!! Found some at 3.28 today... but it's getting ridiculous :( . How's everyone else's gas prices right now?

Howdy Bman,

For several decades, environazi's and liberals have managed to prevent the building of new and needed refineries and kept oil and natural gas fields, from being opened and developed..as well as new nuclear plants..put the blame where it belongs. It's past time to open up the ANWR fields in Alaska,as well as for building new refineries that won't git shut-down by hurricanes.

While yer moaning and groaning about the price of gas, maybe you can also spend a little time thinking of the folks who suffered from Hurricane Katrina..and thank God ..that you still have a home to come home to..that you didn't lose your family or your life..that you ain't on a bus to the Astrodome or elsewhere..But for the Grace of God...there go I.

Actually it has been almost 100 years that the oil/steel/banking cartels have kept biomass fuels, as envisioned by Henry Ford in his battle against them to bring the hemp car and bio fuel. Mr. Ford envisioned the destruction that the carbon fuels and the strangle hold that Rockefeller/Mellon/Dupont cartels had on our country. He was brought to his knees by them as they made a competitor they called GM and made biomass fuels illegal destroying the competition for almost 100 year now. The result has been the destruction of the atmosphere, governments, countries all for the glory of their fiat currency and the burning of fossil fuels instead of free biomass. Your valiant legacy you are shouting about so proudly is a profound failure in all respects.

Yeah, you open those fields, burn some more countries, and send more of my brothers to die for more oil. I am really glad I am not part of your dream brother, your dream sucks oil and you know what? Your dream ends with the last drop of oil. Whets the plan then bud? We are here as Cannabes, not fucking astromilitary ass-wipes. People know about the fraud with oil and understand cannabis can make oil naturally. You are on empty here even with your flag waving. Get over it.

pisshead
09-01-2005, 02:44 PM
very true.

i think it has less to do with the hurricane, that's being used as a convenient smokescreen to jack up the prices even more...INFLATION is another cause...our fiat currency is more and more rapidly becoming worthless...it's just paper...that's it...it's legal counterfeiting, and we just accept the worth of it...our dollar has been devalued against the euro about 40% in the last few years...40 fucking percent.

yeah, those oil companies are really pressed for cash...there's no shortage...they can refine all the oil they want, despite what fox and cnn say...we should be paying 50 cents a gallon for that shit...

it's another way to gouge us as we're brought down to 2nd world status...all part of the plan...

Actually, the effects of the hurricane haven't hit our gas prices yet, give it another week or 2. What's affecting the gas prices right now is that a few weeks ago the Prince in Saudi Arabia died, and their government went into total upheaval.

Yeah man, you got it! Big part anyway. Amazing too. Did you know Bush/Rockefeller and Dupont bankers basically own Saudi? But now they donā??t have that king and how many here really know what an Islamic Kingdom is like? Man, it is more than pandemonium and the US agents just will not be able to control it.

We really have to start to move our biomass fuels ahead. 100 years sleeping in the backroom we cannot stay enslaved to carbon fuels. This is our destiny if we do. As the oil dwindles so will the civil means to obtain it. Do we want to be dependent on a resource that will end, and soon? Cannabis used to be the best oil until the president of Mellon bank, who owned Dupont and GM made it illegal forever. Wonder why? It's the United States Corporation.

Start looking into growing corn and weed in your backyards and fields, it is not hard to make biomass fuels. You would be astounded. You can make a hemp/alchohol mix like Henry Ford did for his cars when he wanted freedom from those Oil dicks. Little carb adjustment and off you go. Pure hemp oil for diesel and it always was the best lubricant.

Leave it to the neo-con nazis to turn a national catastrophe into partisan politics. Lets see, will the republican's candidate in 2008 make commercials and use the Katrina victims in their campaign like 9/11 in last year's election?

Torog,

While I respect your views and beliefs, I disagree with you quite a bit. President Bush is supposed to be our President... our leader... and here we have our leader, who insisted on going into iraq (which, they found no nuclear weapons... so what does that prove)... threw troops in afghanistan and how many other countries in the world, and he can't even control a simple city that is in the US. Now tell me Torog, doesn't it look like something's wrong with that picture? How the hell are we supposed to "help" anyone else when we can't even control what's going on in our nation. Ever since Bush came to presidency, Gas Prices Sky Rocketed (It was .99 up until 1999 or 2000, now we're dealing with 3.50 a gallon), the economy plummeted, and we've gotten our shit into that we should have never had to deal with in the first place. Hey, here's an idea: How about instead of investing all of our money and troops in Iraq, why not stop all the slavery and genocide going on in Sudan? Instead of saving people's lives we're losing shitloads, along with the Iraqi people. So you can throw your republican bullshit ass views on me, but all it's going to do is make me more motivated to prove you wrong. I respect you have your beliefs and that's awesome if it works for you... but it doesn't mean it's the reality of the matter. That's not even mentioning Bush's billions of dollars spent on the war on drugs... which... guess what? It's one he cannot win. Wouldn't you agree it's a FUCKED UP country when we have more people sitting in jail for marijuana charges and other drug related charges then rapists, killers, or even burglars? Let's face it, Bush has made our country a living hell. You can say whatever you want to try and persuade me or anyone else here Torog, but it simply isn't going to work. Fuck, we should have just been like Canada and NOT started shit with anyone and mind our own damn business.... Country of the free my ass.

Howdy Art,

You missed the point--new refinery capacity has been stifled by the environazis..now we're all paying the price. Our world ain't structured around biomass fuels,it's built to run on oil..until that changes..we need new refineries and oil and natural gas fields. So,while I support the use of biomass fuels,I'm at least aware of the reality that we live in..your location is apt..'state of confusion'..and I find that it's you -,who is living in a dream-world of what could be,while ignoring present reality. I've lived and worked in the oil patch and I know what the reality is..and what we need..do you have such experience and perspective ? I seriously doubt it.

Very flawed logic. I missed no point, I think you should sit back and rethink it. You are saying we are running on oil, so no need to go about change back to biomass, just keep opening up more dirt shit ways to fuel the capitalist engine at the expense of anything that might work at all ends. Meaning, lets keep the oil cartel in business digging out the last bits of oil and worry about the future till 2012.

I just find that horribly irresponsible. Not only that, it is counter to the basis of cannabis culture. Hemp is cannabis and the oil it contains is not only high in protein but until the oil cartel made it illegal was the number one lube oil in the world and along with alcohol and was first choice of fuel driven engines. The point I made was that Henry Ford, the Nazi bigot, was making cars from it and fueling them in 1941. Did you get that point? That it WAS the number one until the oil cartel made it illegal. Now, you want to continue allowing the fraud to go on, promoting oil when it sucks, it will soon be gone and you want to wait until it IS gone before you think anything new. Like the idiots on Easter Island cutting the last tree down. Using hemp for fuel vs. oil, do you get the idea how much less dirt would be around? Did you ever give a moment thought why the corporate United States would make a plants INDUSTRIAL use illegal??? Just one good reason why industrial use was cut? How about 80 billion dollars to IE Dupont for rope alone?

That flag you wave was made from hemp originally. Did you know it is the war flag? Do you know what the American Civil flag looks like? Did you know the red white blue and gold flag is not American? I give civic lessons you know.

Howdy Art,

The point that I think you missed was, that the current reality is what it is..just because we both know that hemp would be much better and would actually improve the health of the planet, doesn't make it realistic to assume that the current infrastructure of the oil industry would be changed overnight.

Alternative fuels are slowly making headway into the infrastructure, like LPG and biomass fuels, but it will be sometime before they achieve dominance,if ever. My interest in increasing refining capacity and opening up new fields,is for national security and economic concerns.

If you teach civics, then most likely, the last thing on yer mind--is national security..and you probably loathe the military and the right to keep and bear arms,as well.

As for the flags that you speak of,do ya have a sample ? I ain't never heard of the flag being called the war flag..sounds like a way for y'all liberals to make America out to be a war-like and militaristic country. I was taught American history and civics,by an old-fashioned gal who loved her country with all of her heart and didn't engage in pc'ism..like the current crop of liberal teachers do..my teacher actually wanted us to love our country and what it stood for and we left class, feeling good about our country,it's ideals and hard-fought freedoms. Whereas todays liberal teachers, most likely leave their students feeling bad about America and themselves, and leave their students in a state of confusion.

My family has a long history of teachers,my mother is currently gittin her master's degree to teach,my grandparents and great-grand parents, were all teachers and instrumental in helping to formulating and setting up several schools and 2 colleges, here in Texas. They all believed in the goodness of America and inspired their students to make America better, rather than leave them feeling ashamed and confused, like many liberal teachers do today in our schools.

Which kind of teacher are you ? Do you inspire or do you teach shame and guilt ?

Have a good one ....

First, I would like to point out to all the political bullshit in this thread, it was a post about gas prices and this is way off topic, start a new one for that crap. Second, 9/11 justified the war with AFGANISTAN!!! NOT IRAQ!!! BTW, even though they don't report it, we are still fighting in AFGANISTAN. We switched to IRAQ so we could shift the public eye from a war we were losing. Third, gas prices will not go down, after hurricane Ivan last year, how much did gas prices drop?? maybe a nickle? And while biomass fuels are a good idea, producing it legally from corn, uses more oil than just making plain gasoline. Hydrogen cars are decades away from being perfected, and even then, it would cost billions of dollars to replace all the gas stations with hydro stations.

Throwing money at the hurricane Katrina problem will not make it go away. The rescue efforts were horribly botched, considering WE KNEW THE STORM WAS COMING. Also, why keep rebuilding in Florida if it gets hit EVERY DAMN YEAR. Maybe learn from mother nature and get the f*ck out the way eh?

Last, for who ever posted about Saudi Arabia, their oil is practically worthless for us. They can jack up production all the want, but the crude oil they produce is worthless for making gasoline. And all the people that say tap into the reserves? How long do you honestly think that would last? 700 million barrels in the reserves, would be used up quite quickly

The problem is with idiots that still drive V8 trucks/suvs when NO ONE NEEDS THEM. Soccer moms do not need SUVS, idiot rednecks do not need 4x4 trucks, and NOONE NEEDS A HUMMER. But, they are seen as status symbols, and people will not look like they don't have money. We run an entire country based on oil consumption. All of our exports/imports rely on oil to move them. You think you hurt filling up your V8 Jeep? Think about truck drivers who make a living driving your produce and food around, they don't get reimbursed for the increased cost of diesel.

As far as Katrina goes, my heart goes out to anyone who was not able-bodied, or could not afford to leave the city. To the idiots I've seen on CNN saying "we decided to try and stick it out" they should be left to rot. Give the aid to the poor/injured people who deserve it, not the criminals who are firing at the rescue workers. FEMA completely botched the rescue effort, because they were more worried about terrorist attacks, than the hurricane season WE KNEW WAS COMING.
