i did make a thread about this a little while ago about me doing an outdoor grow but it was too late in the year, so i have a few questions to ask about my outdoor grow next year........
........the place im going to grow it is across a pretty shallow river (about waist heigh during the summer), and there is a farmers field right next to it but of course covered by a few acres of forest, now during the summer periods the nettles, trees, bushes etc grow pretty tall and all over the place so that is ok for blocking where i'm going to plant them.
so anyway my questions, the farmers field is huge about 50-100 acres big full of green fields (he actually uses it for sheep, pigs, horses, taht kinda stuff) do you think he could smell it? the closes you could maybe get to my plants from the field would be a good 200-300m covered by trees and bushes. but im hoping to grow around 30 plants plus clones over all. the next question...preparing the soil, would it be ideal to put some kind of rootkiller down a few months before growing my plants on the same patch....after flushing it with water.......like i said, theres alot of nettles that grow there and i wanna get rid of them.
and the most important question, during the summer time a FEW, not alot but 1 or 2 children play around it this river, do you think that it would b obivious for them 2 go over the other side? there isn't any paths or anything like that, there isn't any open areas, its all covered up and also i don't particually see any children or ppl for the matter go across taht side (no footprints or no signs of people chopping things down like bushes or nettles).
and also, if i am going to start to grow my plants outdoors in england around mid april/may time, temperatures can get up to around 15-20 degrees C that time, do you think i sud plant them later than that? or is that a good time for them to become nice, tall and healthy (after all i am going to use some nutes for it), but bcoz of the time i am going to plant them, will there be enuf time to take some clones after 4 or so weeks, and grow them right up until sept/october time........its almost september here in england and the temperatures have been around 25-25 degrees C lately which has been nice.
i'm sorry to keep yabbering on but questions do need answers, hope someone can be of some help as i wish to grow a reasonable ammounts a produce multi-colas on every plant = a nice harvest :)
thank you in advance.
peace.
