As much as I DO feel for these people, that's the price you pay for living in mother nature's domain. It looks real bad, luckily, not as bad as people thought, but it's ugly down there. Two more tropical depressions headed our way as well. It's peak hurricane season baby! Keep em' rollin'

A hurricane lasts what... 12-16 hours in one specific location? Granted the wind is what makes it a "Big Storm"...but in my honest opinion.. it's like living in Tornado Alley and saying, "Oh shit, what are the chances? A Tornado!"

Hurricanes go through there yearly, sometimes more than once a year. Wouldn't you expect someone that lives there to be prepared for it?

I mean.. i live in about 4 ft. or sometimes more, of snow and ice and -20 degree weather for 3-4 months of the year. In comparrison that's alot shittier than a big ass thunderstorm that goes by once or twice a year.

Either way, hope for the best and as little casualties as possible
