Harvesting @ the right time

I heard if you harvest a little earlier then normal, you get buds that dont give you that stoned/lazy feeling. Not that I don't like that feeling, but I'm planning on growing some Super Haze which says it's 100% sativa, and I want this to be my Cocaine weed for snowboarding, etc. Anyway is this true?

it depends mainly on the strain. if it's 100% sativa then it should be some nice smoke :D
it is true to an extent...often i've found that when i sample to try my buds then try it again a week or 2 later.. it's a very different stone.. with the same back bone. if that makes sense?

Mainly strain based...that's my answer.
