Here is a rough draft of my proposed hydro system. Feel free to cratique it.
Keep in mind...this is the 1st draft to escape my brain
I think I want to use 8-10 inch drainpipe T's spaced about 16-18 inches apart
to support netpots(my local hydro store has netpot/bucket lids combo's that fit over 5 gallon buckets for 5bucks), but I might just cutout endcaps with 4"
holesaw) with waterflow recirculating in bottom pipe supplying Oxy and providing healthy hydro environment...
I have a deep well....supplying my Reverse-Osmosis DI filter.
That will fill a 55 gal approved plastic water tank that gravity feeds 2 seperate reservoirs...
One for PH'd RO water in case I need a flush/or to flush
and the 2nd is for Nutrient Solution...
Both reservoirs will feed through a gang valve to the Inlet side of the 600gph external pump...
this pump will supply a sprinkler system w/inline timer and a 1" water line w/inline flow regulator...
the water will be supplied under pressure to create a turbulent recirculating flow of water through the system...
down a 2' drain and back to res...
Now what did I forget?
Do you see any drawbacks to this design? :o
Enjoy... :D
