are my seeds ok

ok so i was expecting sprouts this morning so i had my hps running all night. normally i leave the door open, but, half awake and annoyed with my cat for fuckng around in my growroom, i closed the door and went back to sleep around 3 am. woke up at about 9:30 this morning and opened my growroom door. heat SEEPED outta the room and the thermo read 100 degrees. of course this was air temp.. i just wanna kno if my babies in soil r still ok :confused:

100 degrees? Thats, thats probly not real good. Nor was having the light on all night when they haven't sprouted.

yea but i im hoping it wasnt that big a deal after all the soil was still soaked..

You'll have to wait and see, depending on the hardiness of the seeds.

From what I see, they haven't even sprouted yet. No light is required for sprouting. All you're doing is wasting your life span of your light and frying your little sprouts. 100degF, that is a tad warm. They should be okay, but for the time being, shut off your light, keep the soil well watered, and in a few days you should see some sprouts.

That's what I do. I germ them in layers of paper towel, after about 48-72hrs, I put them in soil, I keep the soil well watered, in the dark in my cab, and in another 48-72 hrs I have sprouts.

You'll just have to wait it out though. Hard to say, good luck! :cool:
