I live with my parents who dont know i smoke. Last night i decided to try the hot knifing thing, of course i got more stoned than ever, so i managed to gather up all my tools except the funnel. I left a 2 litre bottle with the bottom cut off and the bottom wrapped up in tin foil. They woke up, saw it, and are gone to work now, how the hell am i supposed to explain that? :p

I made my own wooden pipe, it works great, but I was on the end of my stash and I knew that I could get higher if I used hot knives. Takes a little more effort, but worth it :D

Hot knifing is when you heat up a pair of knives on the stove, then pick up a little BB of weed with one hot knife, and squish it together with another. The plume of smoke that results is supposed to be inhaled through a funnel, i used a 2l bottle with tinfoil around the bottom (so i dont accidentally melt the bottle).

Not only is it twice as efficient as a pipe, it works like a vapourizer most of the time (unlless you get it too hot), you inhale THC vapour instead of smoke. While this may be healthier to your lungs, you miss out on all the other chemicals, so its more of a physical high than a mental one.

Still fun though :)
