Does anyone here have Hppd?
Hallucinogen perception persistance disorder
In laymen's terms, it's when you trip out on L.S.D.( ONLY L.S.D. ) and never regain reality. So it basicaly being on a permenent trip. I have it, thus this post. I got it 8 yrs. ago & I'm still tripping!!!!!!!!!!!
I was diagnosed by a specialist, if I hadn't been I'd probably never know what the hell is wrong with me. I must add, I'm one of the lucky few. I'm in euphoria!!! Most are housebound & foaming at the mouths. No really, most don't cope well at all, I'm just such a burn out, I can live in a trip :D
So....................anyone else???????????????

....I don't think your still frying...I think you just see things like you did when you were frying.

Personally...I think when you trip out..you are kind of just seein things from a different perspective in a sense....so it's like..after you've done this hallucinogen and seen what it can do..it's like...you can still kind of keep those perspectives.

I still see a lot of shit I have seen on mushrooms and acid....but it's not like im trippin out..it's just I can perceive it differently.

Yeah..maybe I am crazy.

I've tripped maybe a hundred times on acid, about the same on shrooms, and about the same on various RCs. My mind is obviously fried, I am incapable of having a coherent conversation.

HPPD is not being on a permanent trip.

Darling, I'm well aware of what Hppd is. I went through intense medical testing and was diagnosed by a specialist. Given this info, do you think I am not well versed on the disorder? I've read both links long ago.
I think you are possibly taking me a wee bit too literaly i.e. permenent trip.
Shall I say, perment visual disturbances?
I think most of you should think before posting a reply. You're feeding into the stereotype that people who smoke pot are burnt, unintelligent and slow.

Sorry if I sounded like an ass but I did understand HPPD to be more a visual perception problem than a "permanent trip" or psychosis as some would take it.
