store-bought potting soil shouldn't have any pests in them as they're usually sterilized before bagging and i have never heard of anyone picking up pests from quality potting soil so i think your probs lie elsewhere...

180 watts of what kind of lights?

please don't say incandescents...but it appears your plant is light-starved...

i have (3) 60 watts flourescent lights..

i appreciate the responses here....

i am hearing that the plant looks light starved... will work on getting more light today. (i just transferred to my closet 5 days ago... it was in the window sill for about 6 weeks. And if it is light starved.. can i correct the problem or is it too late

can anyone tell me what stage my plant is in.. and what kind of light cycle i should place the plant on...

the schultz plant spray that i used yesterday seems to have solved the problem for the mites
