Grow update...Thoughts?

hey peeps its been awhile since i put a few pics of of me grow they doing very well at the moment my two best plants stands at a proud 2'5" to 3' which is not bad for first hydro i thinks :) ive unfortunatly lost track of how old they are now i think they are into 6 weeks of veg but im not sure due to certian factors going on at the minute..(nu job! :eek: ) anywho like to hear what you think about them!

P.S ive bin looking at the recent preflowers my best two plants have bin making but i think my ak-48 mite be producing both male and female preflowers! :confused:, ill keep you peeps updated about that!...my other one (early bud) is only producing female preflowers

anymore thoughts on my grow and if i need to improve or change anything?? i would really appreciate the help! thanks ski the main stem is starting to get woody but is still green and as you travel up the stem it thicken! wierd but im not too fussed! I think it may have gone hermie but its still to early...by the looks of it my ak-48 now has 3 female preflowers and 1 male..still too early to tell but i'll keep you posted about it

Your plants are looking very nice! Good job! :)

Did you stress your plant out really bad lately? Is there light leaks in your room? Those are really the main two reasons why a plant would hermie on you. Light leaks being the #1 problem. When it is dark, make sure it is 100% dark in your room. Don't turn on the lights to take a peek or nothing. When the light is off, keep it off and never expose it to light when the light isn't on.

Hey Hard...just thought I would let you know....If you have a Fridays near you....ask for an etch a sketch when you go in.....We go in ripped all the time and have a blast playing with those things....of course since I have the attention span of a 90 year old Portiguese waiter I only play for about 3 minutes.... :) Then I new entertainment

Yes Harddon that is indeed THE etch a sketch...its ancient but still works and before you say it...YES i still use that thing great fun for me as im like a lil kid most of the time...surprised you didnt say anything bout the ghetto blaster beneath it! :P

Chronic: The lighting system i've used for their lifetime so far has been a 400watt hps light using a Grolux bulb instead of standard!

Chowder: Blame me lady for that prob! she always loves to have a peek at them whenever im stuffing me face with potato chips and beer, watching the football game or whenever im out at the pub! keep teeling her off but she wont listen...

You can force flower most any plant, mj or not, by manipulation of the lite cycles.

duuude i know the attitude is amissable i dunno really man ive nurtured them through their WHOLE LIFE!!!! you gotta give me some credit for caring for them i've even sat in the grow room for litteraly 3 hours talking to them...c'mon now thats dedication to the max!

how many plants do you have and are they all ak-48?

Hi, well one is ak-48 and the other one is early bud...they are growing rather quickly in the last week an im quite surprised! anyways the grolux bulb is really good and i think o got it from basementlighting or something cant remember the bulb, reflector and ballast cost round 80 pounds. quite good really anywho...heres the updated pics! :D hope you like and give you idea on groluxs bulbs!

yeah that's exactly who I got my light from too :) .

they are looking pretty good, do you have a fan on them cos that stem looks pretty thick, how far is the light from the top of the plant, and are these the same plants you let stretch a bit by that windowcill?

yes these are the very same plants that were really strecthed but the've made a really good comeback ive got a small screen with foil on it(dull side) to reflect light to undergrowth and the fan is blowing directly onto the bulb which is deflected to the growing top which gives it a rather hypnotic sway! :D
