Hey, just wondering if a small crop was planeted in the kootaneys (thats in southern BC, canada) around nelson, salmon arm or that area. Say 4-6 plants were planted and left thru the season. Would the seeds survive thru the winter and start to grow again the next spring?

What kind of conditions do seeds need to survive outdoors?

hey man im down on van island and wut u wanna do is get one of those trays with a roof ( black tray , clear roof) and stick your seeds in there with a paper towel on the bottom and over top of the seeds and make the paper towel damp (NOT SOAKED!) the seeds shud germinate in a couple days so u can tell witch ones will work and witch ones wont and then u can put them into pots and let em grow. ahah , but if your starting now its a little late (late August) cuz the winter is comin and outdoor plants start to flower now . so if your growing outdoor then save em for next year or grow indoors if u ca. pce PS i dont think they would make it through the winter & warmer the roots faster the growth another reason why it wouldent work in the winter
