My plan is a closet. 2??x 4??x 8?? slit into two sections. The bottom section is 2?? x 4?? x 3?? for clones and hopefully mother and the other 2?? x 4?? x 5?? for flowering. The bottom a 150w HPS mini enclosed and 600w HPS at the top. The grow trays should be about 10? deep so I am not sure how much I really loose there. Use computer case fans to move the air inside and from the bottom. I know I need to vent outside air. I am thinking 4? tubes with inline duct fans both ways from the attic vents. I am not sure that this will be enough to keep from over heating. Another thought was having 2 lines one to the house and one out side and just to close the one from out side in the summer and use the house a/c. I just wan to get the setup right the first time. I will be using Nevilles Haze Hybrid :o and Grapefruit. Also how much could I harvest in what time frame? Do to stress I have a very high intake rate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Ok I changed to 6" hoses. Does any one have any idea how many plants I can harvest. It will be 25.5" x 39" x 60". I am not sure what type of hydro system to go with. ow deep it needs to be or what size pots I will need or how many to try to fit. I will have a 600w HID. Hopefully the 6" in / out vents will do the trick for the heat. Any one out have any advise??

If this is your first grow, I would grow 2... yes I said it.,,,,,,, ONLY 2 plants...
They will be amazing... giving you about 2-4 ounces each,,,, under a 600watt HPS..
Keep the light close to the tops of your (mature) plants ( 3-8 inches) and have a fan blow between you plants and your light. An inexpensive bubler system would be perfect using clay rocks..
Veg until they are 12-16 inches... take clones- let the plants grow for 7-10 more days and flower the suckers...
YOU WILL BE BLOWN away....
good luck!! : )

Start small so the loss is small. Grow big and the loss gets expensive. Keep it manageable until you have 2 complete grows under your belt.
You can thank us later for saving you a lot of stress.

Ok thanks for your help. I am new to this. I have the Mega garden - Ebb & Flow System for the bottom. I ended up getting a T5 Fluorescent for the bottom also. I haven??t got a light or a hydro system for the top yet. I went to the local hydro shop and I am getting mixed results. What type of system would work best in my environment? I have a guy saying get a 6 plant hydro tub. So what would the people of wisdom suggest? I just want to make sure I utilize all of my space. Another thing is I think I will also use the yeast and sugar combo to create Co2. I was also thinking of tying the inbound air vent into the a/c and outside air to cool the air in the summer months and use a dampener and close it in the cooler months. I will also work on a camera to show off the crop.

good job cycle... important to keep the rooms temp managable.... good thinkinig in advance..
Earlier I wrote something that may have been confusing....
so I will reiterate -
You want to keep the light as close as possible to the tops of your plants...
But only mature plants can handle this... plants that have 4 node+
A good test is to put your hand under the light at the same level as the tops of your plants... if your hand can handle the heat.. so can the plants... if it hurt your hand, you need to lower temp and increase airflow.. (GOD FORBID, you raise the LIGHT)
hehehe
good luck

bubblers are the most inexpensive way to go, but I suggest retro fitting them with drain plugs, because nute change can be a pain without drainage, then add a fill hose to top...good advice here go with 2-3 plants at most...

I do not understand what systems are considered bubblers. Are there any links to systems? I was thinking of getting The Baby Bloomer 31????L x 12''W x 12''H. Is there some where else I should be looking?

Ok after some reading. I think I get it. Need 1 tube from your friendly neighbor hood Wal-Mart. A few drain plugs. A good top. A few fish tank air machines and hoses. Some grow rocks. Now my question now is what is the minimum height I can go with? I plan to find a low very wide tube or a few tubes. This gives me a few ideas. I need to find a camera somewhere to log all of this.
