You already made two other threads, stop making them. The mods will eventually see it, post in the feedback/suggestion area, they will more likely see it there.

I really wish they'd let us delete our own threads, I can't see the harm in that.

Whats the point of posting then?

It's like sex really, she may not have seemed so bad at the time but once you let loose you start to feel the regret.
At least with a thread you should be able to fix it as if it never happened, not having to pay your hard earned cash towards it or pretend to love it because the bitch wouldnt get an abortion.

Yeah, but imagine if someone who started a huge thread like the association thread or something got pissed and went on a rampage. BAM there goes thousands of posts.

Still, it could be set for a poster to delete a thread with no or few replies.

What if they had a delete option for threads and posts, but after you clicked delete it wouldnt delete right away, it would be like the system where the mods have to give it an okay to be deleted, then it will be deleted. Kinda like registering here.

I think this question has been asked before by others. And it's always responded to with the same logical response: "No. There is no point." They they proceed to explain why there's no point and you understand why and say "Oh."

because if everyone could pull posts willy-nilly it would result in confused threads with no continuity...same goes for editing posts older than 5 minutes. it would give a chance to change a storyline to be more credible in a current or future situation.

Well, when I say something dumb and del... points it out and makes me look dumb, I just change my original post so it's no longer dumb, and ask del... what his post was about, then del... ends up looking dumb and edits his post so he doesn't look dumb anymore, and then his next post asks me what I was referring to.
It's a vicious cycle null, a vicious, vicious cycle.

He wants to delete a post where he gave his location and asked to be hooked up with weed. But there's no point in deleting it because it'll float around in cyberspace despite their grandest efforts.

You don't - once posted, it's posted.
Edit time is limited to 5 minutes - keep in mind the Marihemp Network boards has no edit function at all, and there are actually less complaints about editing than here ... go figure.
Some of the folks on the mod team will occionally delete posts upon request; I rarely ever will and for the most part simply ignore such requests ... for chit chat that one doesn't want to persist indefinitely, a better alternative is the chatroom - click the Chat link above.
