You probley all know by drying out a banana skin, and then scraping out the inside bit, the bit that comes off in strings down your banana, then putting it a Riz and smoking is ment to get you "high".

Basicly i was just wondering if anyone had any usuful information on this, im intressted to hear about it. I think im going to try it, no matter how stupid it sounds, i want to see if it works. Please anyone can i have good information about this, or anything else like this.

thanks

Ok, well thanks. Have you tried it?
I think i still will anyway.

Also i heard about highs from penut shells and weird things other than bananas.

But as me and my mates said yesterday, not like the sweet taste of weed.

You have to boil the scrapings and shit, and then bake them, until they're a powder, it really doesn't seem worth the hassle.. if anything happens, it's a placebo for sure!

Welcome to the site:D
You went through all the hassle of boiling, and baking and scrapin and eating (bananas) lol, i'd try it if there was proof that it worked, but that site i just looked on^^ said that the author of the Anarchists Cookbook wanted it to stop being published as it was a lie. Wish it was true, as the effects sound cool lol

You'd have to be either very desperate or very bored to try this...

from the anarchists cookbook:

Believe it or not, bananas do contain a small quantity of

_Musa Sapientum bananadine_, which is a mild, short-lasting

psychedelic. There are much easier ways of getting high, but

the great advantage to this method is that bananas are legal.

1) Obtain 15 lbs. of ripe yellow bananas.

2) Peel all 15 lbs. and eat the fruit. Save the peels.

3) With a sharp knife, scrape off the insides of the peels and

save the scraped material.

4) Put all of the scraped material in a large pot and add

water. Boil for three to four hours until it has attained a

solid paste consistency.

5) Spread this paste on cookie sheets, and dry in an over for

about 20 minutes to a half hour. This will result in a fine

black powder. Makes about one pound of bananadine powder.

Ususally one will feel the effects of bananadine after smoking

three or four cigarettes.

From the author of the Anarchist cookbook:

"Author would like to see publication discontinued. . . .

"The Anarchist Cookbook was written during 1968 and part of 1969 soon after I graduated from high school. At the time, I was 19 years old and the Vietnam War and the so-called 'counter culture movement' were at their height. . . . The book, in many respects, was a misguided product of my adolescent anger at the prospect of being drafted and sent to Vietnam,"
