all that almost never happens, that is footage that has been used in shutting down those particular farms... i have seen most all of that in person and it is all done in a semi-humane way like the metal retractable rod guns that are shot into a cows skull so fast that the cow never knew what happened and dies instantly, they do the same with pigs but really who cares about chickens... and as for the cattle prods that dosent even hurt them, they would cause pain to us but cows are a lot bigger and get past 1000 pounds a cattle prod to them is a spanking to us... a little painful, but nothing to write home about

i didnt post this to change people opinion on eating meat just to think about maybe changing to free range or organic where animals are treated humanely. and it does happen more regularly than people think every non-free range chicken has pretty much the same life live for a about 8 weeks never see light or go outside and many do die due to size they grow to quickly

i give a fuck about chickens and i hate seeing them in pain....i hate seeing any animal in pain be it an elephant or a feild vole. I watched a little bit of that clip...ive seen it before and all it does is make me want to kick the shit out of those people....it truly does...and i would given half a chance

sure u can buy organic or free range or keep your own animals so thats bullshit maybe u cant make a difference to the whole of the meat industry but if people started supporting more ethical forms of producing meat then animals would be treated better.
