I just can't figure out what Iraq has to do with 9/11?? Is there something i'm missing. Was the main reason because Iraq harbored terrorists? It's just not pliable. How is 9/11 and Iraq connected in any way? Someone please fill me in! Also, Bush is on vacation, he can't even make time to talk to this woman camped outside his ranch?? What kind of president is he. It'd be one thing if he was too busy running the country, but nope, he's do busy vacationing.

There isn't a 9/11 and Iraq connection. The 9/11 commission stated that multiple times.

I wouldn't talk to that lady either...

I feel for her, but she's probably going to shoot him in the head.

And if she's not, his security is probably worried she is.

Everyone needs a vacation. Fuck that lady. I wouldnt do anything presidential while I was on vacation, unless we got attacked or something. We have a vice president. I dont like Bush or support him in any way. Actually, fuck politics and everyone that takes part in it. But people are blaming Bush for shit he cannot control. The President is a figurehead.

On the evening of Sept. 12, 2001, according to a newly published memoir, President Bush wandered alone around the Situation Room in a White House emptied by the previous day's calamitous events.

Spotting Richard A. Clarke, his counterterrorism coordinator, Bush pulled him and a small group of aides into the dark paneled room.

"Go back over everything, everything," Bush said, according to Clarke's account. "See if Saddam did this."

"But Mr. President, al Qaeda did this," Clarke replied.

"I know, I know, but . . . see if Saddam was involved. Just look. I want to know any shred."

Reminded that the CIA, FBI and White House staffs had sought and found no such link before, Clarke said, Bush spoke "testily." As he left the room, Bush said a third time, "Look into Iraq, Saddam."

http://www.president-bush.com/bombiraq.html

After 9/11 Americans were furious that it happened and terrified it could happen again. Bush used this to further his own agenda which was to go after Saddam Hussein. Whatever he did was for the good of the country and if you disagreed with him you were anti-American. At least that's what the Republicans would have us believe. Since there wasn't a direct link to Al Queada Bush lied about WMD. Now that they haven't been found he goes back to the claim that Iraq was supporting terrorists and now that Saddam is gone were safer.

BULLSHIT!!! If anything he just stirred up a hornets nest. All those borderline Muslim extremists, the ones who hated America but not yet ready for Jihad, are now pissed off enough to die for the cause. The U.S. military is seeing record low numbers of new recruits while new terrorists pop up every day. The only reason that we are safer now is that most of the terrorists are content to go after our military in Iraq, What happens when we finally pull out. Does Georgie Porgie think they'll just go away. No! They'll find new targets. Most likely here in the U.S. or in our Allies countries.

History will show that GW was one of the worst Presidents ever and an embarrasment to our country. Until then:

FUCK YOU GEORGE W. BUSH

Some lady's been camping outside the president's ranch for like a month or something now. Her son died in the war in iraq. She "just wants talk to him" and stuff, but that's a little extreme for a simple talk in my opinion. And what will talking accomplish anyway?

I think she just wants to shoot him or eat his eyes or something.

Actually she did meet with bush once already??

They met at a ??benefit? (for lack of a better word) where he met with many relatives of dead soldiers.

It wasn??t until sometime after this that she seems to of had a change of heart and an audience.

In the beginning I had sympathy.

Now I find her repulsive.

Listen to the woman talk?this is not about her son?

She was once asked what she thought her son would think of what she was doing.

She said she hadn??t thought about it.

She also said that if Bush came out now and talked to her it would ruin their momentum.

Now shes giving advice about Israeli and Palestinian relations?..she makes me want to fucking vomit.

She is a sad woman who is using her families tragedy as a political platform.

If this were the case of a grieving mother who is against war?.I might think differently.

Oh give me a break! You really think they'd let her talk to him without searching her? He's the most powerful man in the world, there's no way they wouldn't pat her down before she talked to him.

He may be a figure head, but he still possess an immense amount of power. Just because he's told what to do, doesn't mean he isn't capable of doing something on his own.

In a letter sent to the Drudge Report by Cherie Quarterolo, Casey's aunt and godmother, the family states:

Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish. Thanks, Cherie
In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford, Texas, issue: Sheehan family statement:

The Sheehan family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan family supports the troops, our country, and our president, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

im pretty sure at first the bush administration said they were going to iraq because saddamn was making "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION!!" oh my. then oil, now it suddenly changed to operation iraqi freedom? wtf? what does he expect the american public to think? we're confused as fuck! and if the reason we're over there is to free them, why couldn't they have chose a better place? like africa? many countries in africa are doing worse than vietnam, *cough* iraq. im not naive and i know that one of the supposed reasons we're over there is because alquadea insurgents were crossing the borders. but one thing i dont get is this:

saddam insane didn't have the type of theocracy al quadea wanted, so that means they didn't start apperaing till after saddam was gone (which is absolutely true). so to all you bush supporters.. are you being told the truth? are we all being lied to?

I just can't figure out what Iraq has to do with 9/11??

It's all money.

Why do you think they are lobbyists who get paid 100K to sit there in Washington pushing agendas? Presidency is sold to the highest bidder, and Bush has to return the favors to his big donors.

Yeah, I guess we should have let the UN handle Saddam....oh wait I forgot they were busy with the oil for food program.

And I don't think the Bush administration ever said they were going to war for oil.....I think you have your political wack jobs confused. (twopacalypse)

Bush is not tough enough as far as I'm concerned.

And I think Vicente Fox must have naked pictures of Laura.....because illegal immigration could be stopped if Bush wanted it to.

We are there to change business as usual in the Middle East.

And that has everything to do with 911.

heres the answer: Bush need OIL, iraq got a lot, he need to find a reason to attack it, so coz americans are frustrated against arabs coz os 9/11 and cant make the dif btw iraq and afghanistan, bush tells em they got massive nuclear weapon, he gets his oil, his company makes cash, he makes cash, and he doesnt care bout his own fuckin population.

this guy is so stupid i dont understand how sum1 can vote for him. i wont talk bout it anymore i find it so pathetic coz i know anyway hes gonna make USA fall.

Speaking as someone who watch politics from inside America for along time... its just really depressing all around. I used to consider myself a Republican... then one day it dawned on me that Republicans and Democrats both have it wrong... so wrong neither of them will ever get it right. America needs more parties and some decent, trustworthy, honest good human beings in office. America has been subjected to lieing bastards for quite a while now. It scares the hell out of me that anyone could like Clinton after it came out what a lying no good sleeze bag he was.

i want the iraq shit over, saddam is out the picture, let them make a nation and police thier own ,
we need to protect our homeland first, and when they say they doing so by occuppying iraq, they lie.iraq is no threat without a snake head leader
and right now i dont think one would last in power there now, some idiot would blow him up for alla.
i excepted clinton more than bush,
he had the country on the right track $$ wise, and still spent on the programs for the needy,he made more effort than bush to help the dis advantaged.

wonders if a person had evidence GW was corrupt(or had his pecker waxed in the oval office) if you would live thru the night, week, year? or would the CIA run you thru a wood chipper and then disovle you in acid,?
in the good of the nation of course

But why do most Americans think it's our duty to police the world. I guess possibly because it's a responsibility of the most powerful country in the world to straighten things out. We sit here and scold at the people of the past who thought that slavery wasn't a bad thing at all. In their view, they honestly believed that slavery wasn't wrong. 100 years from now, people will sit there and scold at the U.S. for honestly believing that we have any sort of authority over Iraq, or any country for that matter. I don't even care for the cause of why we're in Iraq anymore. My main beef is that the American government currently thinks they have to police other countries. So far, we as the citizens of America have been led to believe that there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I distinctly remember sitting in a classroom watching the Live feed of Colin Powell and Condelleeza Rice making their case for invading Iraq. It wasn't to free the Iraqis, and it wasn't for oil, it was because Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. They even presented satelite photos of several buildings believed to be related to the weapons. However, I do believe that our government needs to finish what they started. Whether it was the right thing to do to invade Iraq, is really now just a moot point. Bush has been reelected, and 1200+ Americans have died. The Mayflower Compact, the very first basis of written laws in the new world (that we know of) was written in 1620. It has taken nearly 400 years for our government to get to what it is now. How can you expect to have a government up and running in a few years. It just isn't possible. Once Bush's terms are up, I believe that an extreme democrat will arise from the mass and pull the troops, out thinking the new government will suffice.

Like it has been said, Bush's administration stirred up a bee's nest that may not be able to run from.

I just don't like being lied to. I don't like it from my kids and I really don't like it from this president. The fact is he's lied about this war and he wants the US folk to support him. I support our troops because they are carrying the instructions of our "commander-in-chief", but the fact still remains. HE LIED!!! AND REPUBLICAN OR NOT...I HATE LIARS!!!!
