Theres Mylar....but you would still have to hang it around your plants somehow...not sure how you would do it in the middle of the room other than to use cardboard boxes..... You definately dont want anything touching even the top of your light....after 18 hours those babys can get pretty hot...No point risking a fire hazard

I use to use plastic,it is black on one side and white on the other side reflects real well. You can buy it in hydroponic stores where i live.It is about 3metres wide and what ever length you wont..
Nursery supliers would be able to tell you where to get it ..
Dont wory about heat i use to run a 1000watt mh in my 1.3m by 1.3m by about 7 foot tall set up wraped around alluminum square tubeing you just put it together like lego....very easy and cheap set up...

Panda Plastic is the product you are talking about lucky. Yes you can build a PVC frame and use snaplocks to hold it to the PVC or just use pan head screws or something else. If you build a frame that surrounds your plants and is only stay's about a foot above the top of the canopy would give you light reflection and still let the heat vent to the rest of the room.

yup, panda plastic 89% reflective and sold at your hydro stores for $90 bucks for a 12'x100' roll or about $1.50 per foot in small quantities...goodluck...also, I lose a little fraction of light, by hanging mine from little screw in hooks, every couple of feet, but you have to be able to put little holes in your ceiling...to me, the grow was worth more than the ceiling! this works good though, especially in the middle of the room, just line out the perimeter with hooks, run a piece of rock and roll (duct)tape, down the edge of plastic and gently push onto hook making little hole, put a couple of pieces of tape on the door edge so you can get inside and you are set..hope this makes sense...goodluck

What are these 'hydro stores' you keep talking about latewood? I know it sounds obvious but I've never seen one.

well, I guess it depends on where you live...google hydro supplies or hydroponics
and sites will come up...most are storefronts in a community somewhere...
I just happened to find a semi-local shop, just less than an hour away, so I drive there
when I need something, now! otherwise I order from a store in cali. for my supplies.
Real cool people, very knowledgable, good people...once gave me 6-7 netpots, because they forgot to shipthem with my nutes. Does this answer your question?
