Tell me why I don't like Mondays

So here we are on the eve of another work week. We put on our "public faces"
jump in our shinny boxes and off we go. We arrive, act like we care, eat lunch, act like we care some more and go home. We light up, reflect and wonder where does this all lead. Just a random thought.

I am happy with my life and love my wife and kids. It is just that it all seems so repetative sometimes.

hey don't worry, you'll be dead before you know it :). no but really i can't say i relate im only 17, its summer, and i haven't had a jobs in months. this summer rocks. it sounds to me that what you need is a vacation.

i dont like mondays either. but when i had mondays off from work, that all changed and i started to hate saturdays instead.

normally i hate mondays, having to get my ass to work, but this week and next week i booked monday and tuesday off, so im gettin stoned for the next couple of days

Without a Monday there wouldn't be a friday. I know what you mean about the repetitive thing, but I quit the corporate world and started my own business (computer repair -- mobile). I go different places all the time, meet different people and do different things. It's great. So much better than real work. And if you need a break you just say you're all booked up today and then go do what you need to.

Down side -- no medical benefits -- so you're wife will still have to keep her job -- oh well.

From what I remember, some chick flipped out and took a gun into school and killed a teacher and the principle. When asked why, she said "I don't like mondays!"

Mondays rule!!! cuz after a hard weekend of dodging my parents and avoiding all contact with them they head off to work and I dont see them till saturday :D

This summer they have only needed me part-time at my job so it is much more enjoyable. Last summer I was working 8-5 or 10-5 every weekday. It was nice having money, but it was really damn repititous. I can't complain with my job though, no working nights, and no working weekends, so I do have it a lot better than my friends with better pay. I work at a local Title & Escrow company.

I did the full-day work/night school thing for three years. Hang in there it will be worth it.

I don't like Mondays because today at work I totally got caught hooking someone up for CHEAP by my manager.

...and then I found out that when I start school they have to okay it with the big manager to see if I can even go down to part time, and if he says no..then I am FIRED.
