"HELP me understand the new "Weed Scene".

Howdy Folks,
First post on this really homey,and very informed Forum,feel as though I had come through time,like 50 years ago.I see all these references to weed.I mean I know Columbian Gold,Panama Red,Dirt Weed and Homegrown(spongey,bright green stuff),but this"Purple haze H-2 strain 1 from H2O seeds"and all this other stuff is like Greek to me.I been tokin for 35 years,just took about 8-10 years off(drug tests,home and job pressures,finances,Get It?)Came back to the Bud 5-6 weeks ago and have been very lucky ,so far,to hook up with a good source,but after seein this Forum,I feel like I don't know S___!
Does anyone have a "POT 101 for year 2005" reference or site?Thank you.

Hi ...and welcome.I know how you feel.What I did was everytime I heard of something I never heard of.I google the name of that strain plus the word cannabis.So for example "Blue Moonshine cannabis".

I know exactly what you mean, I've smoking since around 1967 when pot came in $10 baggies (hence my name). Over the years I've been buying skunk from up in Northern California and thought that was the only kind there was until I came on the internet and discovered a whole new world.
Currently I'm growing some of Doc Chronic's MP5K and cant wait for harvest time!

Notice though how much the price of weed has gone up since then but Cola is still the same price!

Welcome back Jack...another way I learn about strains is to go around the seedbanks...the better ones will have history of breeding, similar to dog pedigree...hope this helps
