A played out, over-rated show. Why do people not see this? All my friends love it. " Oh the simpsons are on", "Its 6:30: Simpsons", Give it a rest already! Yeah the show was good in the mid 1990's but now it sucks.
Id rather watch Scooby Doo in all honesty.

Had to vent. :rolleyes: :)

Diamond Dave has a special place in my heart. THe simpsons on the other hand, need to be put to rest. Or make a movie for all you die hard fans.. Its gone on to long already now.

Simpsons is the best, i hate scooby doo it sucks, he may get scooby snacks all the while, and always have the munchies (shaggy included) but it sucks major ass

And that was just to make a point. I don't watch Scooby, the only *cartoon* I watch is South Park, and small doses at that.

The last Simpsons show I saw was the Halloween episode where they blatantly ripped off Family guy. That show should have ended years ago when it was still funny. Talk about a show living on past glory. but I guess it still makes money, so they'll keep pimping out the Simpsons for another ten years till it finally dies.

It WAS a great show, but it really isn't that funny anymore. I too would rather watch the re-runs than the new stuff.

I havn't seen the new episodes but simpsons was one of my favs and i'd choose The simpsons over southpark any day of the week.

It's all a matter of personal taste. I've been watching the Simpsons since it started around 89 and I must admit, as of late, they haven't been as funny as in the past, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching it.

Some people like it, some don't, but let the people who do enjoy it...enjoy it. Then watch Scooby and his gang some other time. It's only TV, relax...:cool:

What?!? Simpsons were here long before Family Guy. Family Guy started ripping the Simpsons off in the first place.

Look at the similarities. Homer and Peter, both overweight, hilarious idiots. Lois and Marge, both nagging, straight arrowed wives. Meg and Lisa...Chris and Bart. There's a baby in both, a dog in both...but in the end Simpsons was here before FG. I love both shows, but I'm just saying, that's all... :)

i'll watch the new ones, and once in a while theres a funny joke, and ill laugh for a while i still love the simpsons, but why do people like mad tv, that show just sucks

The Simpsons is still awesome. All the characters are hilarious still. I hope the show NEVER ends.

maybe, 2, 3 years ago? they advertised it like it was supposed to be amazing, but it truely sucked. its the one where art moves out, meets tony hawk and some skaters where he lives, and then homer challenges tony hawk at the skating contest

i still love it..i have been a fan since the beginning and have watched my son grow up enjoying it..but i can see how some could be bored with it by now.. thank god for king of the hill and south park

They must have changed something about the Simpsons whether it was the story writer or something also the animation is slightly diff, and now it blows HARD, I LOVE the old simpsons to death like especially lugarsh "I am Lugarsh I came to this country by cartwheeling over berlin wall" *giggles* "NO GIGGLING IT VEAKENS THE HAUNCHES!"
