Ok, we've all been in 3rd grade before, and we've all done the food coloring experiment with the celery stalk. Oooh! Pretty red celery! Well, I saw a discussion in one of the grow forums about trying this method for bud during the last couple couple of waterings to color the weed. Now, I think some red weed would look fuckin' kick ass, so my question is, can cannabis handle "coal tar derivatives" during it's last few waterings or would It ruin your crop in some way?

the cannabis might, but i have a feeling "coal tar derivatives" in your lungs might be bad for you. just maybe.

True, but hasn't it been found that there is tar not only in all ciggerettes but also burning MJ? Not sure about the buds having tar... but I know ciggerettes have it and I've smoked plenty of those...

the coal tar sounds a bit harsh but what about food colouring?
You can get many colours of that in the baking isle.
I wonder if that would work added to last few waterings.

Well, red food coloring is "Red #40" So I don't think theres any way to get around the tar/coal aspect of it. Although I'm not sure about blue, yellow or green...

oh, I consider myself that much wiser now. Well safe to eat doesnt always mean safe to smoke so I dont know if its a wise idea or not but a damn intruiging one anyhow.
Hey, what about pure beet or cranberry juices fed at last few waterings. Problably mould the hell outa the soil if used much longer but no doubt safe for a litttle bit and problably safe to smoke. Just my assumption though so if it burns out a lung ...um...err....sorry dude.
