I'm sure there was a thread like this at some point but oh well.
The technical definition of a phobia is an irrational fear (so something that scares you but may not neccesarily pose a threat). I'm sure most people on this board have one or more of them, what are yours?
I've never been able to watch claymation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claymation), the jerky movements and animation in general freak me the fuck out. My heart starts beating really fast and I start to sweat, and its been that way ever since I was a kid. I don't know why.
So hows about you guys?

roaches, noses, metal thingys....for instance: used silverware....gross! metallic taste ewwww!!!!
Try drinking freezing cold water and thinking of sour ass pennies while you are doing it...it'll give you a bitter face like, "What the fuck?!?!?!"
And unpasted bricks, children poop, dog legs, chicken burgers, smiley faces, and people that go online on weed forum named "stedrick"...na I'm j.p.
But seriously about the first objects...roaches...noses..silverware.
I literally use plastic forks, knives, and plates because it grosses me out that I'm eating off of people.

I have had phobias that were the result of prior panic attacks. I have a fear of eating in restaurants, standing in line at the groocery store, and riding in other people's cars.
It's irrational and hard to explain, but the weed is helping.

100% agreed,i hate getting in situations with people i can't trust...and i don't trust many people...when i'm doing something i know exactly what i'm doing and what needs to be done but when other people become involed with their irrational decisions and get ME in trouble or even arrested(has't happend yet and never will if i can help it)i get soooo pissed,it's one of the only things that makes me angry...stedric i also have a strange fear of claymation,it acctualy gives me a faster heart rate on totaly scares me,when i'm high and fliping though the channels and gumby flick on for even a second i freak...it's scary...:(

im closterphobic man (if i spelled that right). and it isnt really small spaces, as long as i know i can get out of th space then im cool. but if i cant get out man i freak the fuck out. i think the reason is when i was a kid i got trapped in the elevator for 3 hours untill they even knew i was in it.

Howdy icky,
Poor darlin..I'm sorry that you had such an awful experience....
Have you ever ate any frog legs ? You should, they're very tasty..especially if soaked in sweet milk overnight and gently fried . If you ate some frog legs, then maybe you'd see them as a tasty meal..like I do..and you would lose your fear of them.
Being a true Texan,I have no phobia's..lol..although I git accused of being phobic about alot of things,by liberals..there ain't no need to be afraid of anything,as long as ya have God and His Son,Jesus Christ..on yer side. Now don't git me wrong-I ain't trying to evangelize anyone..that's just how I see it.
Have a good one !

Some fears are good to have. We evolved fear for a reason. There are three main things I fear: spiders, snakes, and heights. But I think those are all pretty rational fears, considering the dangers associated with them.

Ermonito, that looks like Kings Dominion in Virginia. No?
Anyways, for those of you scared of spiders, try to think about this. Spiders are really actually our friend. Just like most other insects and arachnids. Spiders protect your home from invasion of other bugs. Face it, we live in a world where insects rule. If there were absolutely NO spiders on earth, the place would be completely filled with insects. Now, for those of you who live Australia, I don't blame your fear for spiders. You got some pretty nasty spiders down there. The worst we have in Virginia is the black widow, which can kill a baby or an old person. That's really why I don't have any fear of spiders, because I know they won't hurt me. At worst, give me an irritating boil. So remember, before you freak out at the sight of a spider, look to see if it's dangerous or not. Then react.

I'm not really afraid of small household spiders, but the tarantulas and recluses and black widows scare me. My sister was bitten by a black recluse last year and had to go to the emergency room.
I don't know what amusement park that is. I just got it off of Google Image Search.

I wouldn't call it a phobia, but when I'm in the shower (not every time, only when I'm home alone), I look out thinking that I heard someone. Sometimes, I get so nervous about someone breaking in and doing something awful to me.

Why would you post pictures of someone's phobia? That's not very intelligent.

dude I HATE clowns with all my being...also snakes, spiders, carrot top. I guess carrot top could count as a clown, just a really bad one. Also heights, sort of. I can look down from a tall building fine, but I get freaked out if I look up. I think it's the fact that I'm so close to the sky without anything above me. Oh, and ocean creatures...once my leg brushed up against an eel and since then I have been deathly afraid of things lurking under the water.
