I know! I know! "Nothing wrong." or "Looks fine to me." HA!
Just fed them for the first time about an hour ago so this condition was pre-existing to feeding. Waited till they were fairly dry before watering. Was like 4 days since I watered last. Temp is between 77 and 81 95% of the time. Might get up to 83-84 on occasion. 3 gallon containers. Soil is a "pro mix" put together locally with spahgnum and perlite and 'forest products'. No initial ferts in soil. Plants are in their fourth week. 180 watts of CFL's with two fans blowing all over the place.
These yellow spots just showed up. Weren't there yesterday. Some of them are getting a little browm. A little worried. Any thoughts?
THANKS!!

Looks like a Nitrogen def. to me. What kind of fert did you use? If it was something high in N, the problem should stop within the next few days. If it isn't something high in N, get something that is. Good luck.

Thanks Chowder! I hadn't fed them anything so I was sort of thinking some kind of deficiency. Was going to use a blood meal tea for N but it wasn't done brewing yet (supposed to sit for 3-4 days) so I used good 'ol Miracle Grow which is all I have access to right now. 12-6-8 is what it is so more N than the others. We'll see what happens!
But here's a question. Do you think I could use the tea (organic) on top of the MG (chem)? Or would they mutate into some giant resinous skunky smellin' monster? HEY! That's what I want!

Miracle grow can kill your plants. It is not formulated for short cycle resin producing plants.

That's dead on.
Get rid of the MG. Don't use any of their products for growing MJ. Not suitable for producing buds. Trust me, I use to use MG 8-7-6, did nothing more than not help my plants, and burn them up. It was like they were immune to that food, but easily burned up.
I would just wait to use that brew mix you made, or go to Home Depot or something and get something a little better. It can still be chem. and all, but avoid "grow sticks". Those are made by Jobe's, do not buy them. What they are is a stick you put in the soil, so everytime you water, it gets fed. Sounds good right? NOT. Everytime you water it releses nutes in the soil, OD'ing your plants and flushing won't help. The more you flush, the more nutes get released. So aviod "grow sticks" and Miracle Grow products.
Anything other than that, can be used. Hope it works out for ya! Good luck, peace

Yes, cactus ferts are good for all succulents of which MJ is a member of.
Just EZ does it on the nutes.
