Help...BLOOD TEST

I got a job the other day and then informed me that they will be giving me a blood test before I can start work. I thought this was a little weird...is it common for companies to take blood tests to detect drug use? Im not sure when they will give me the test yet, but I have been smoking everyday for the past 2 and a half weeks. Im not too familiar with blood tests...any info would be helpful. How long until marijuana is undetectable in the blood??

Thats a new one. Blood is generally drawn to check for diseases rather than drugs of abuse. Toxins are detectable in the blood for only 48 hours. Thats why urine is used to test for drug metabolites instead of blood.

Another question....if I am able to pass a urine test would I pass a blood test?

ive got one thing to say... slit your wrists and bealed your body out of blood, then thety cant take your blood... but shit, u would be dead

thats a good idea...i've got the test tomorrow so i will slit my wrists before i go to bed tonight and hopefully that will get rid of all the blood

rofl. yea i don't think they'll be getting much from a blood test in detecting drugs. however, they might want to do an oral drug test, and those are more difficult to coverup than the urine tests.
