i took vicodin(hydrocodone is the same thing as vicodin) one time each day for about 3 weeks and i didnt get addictied but i dont know if it will be the same for you. i t could be addictive because it is an opiate.

possible to get addicted, depends on body and mind

i doubt it could be addictive bodily, but in reality everything can addictive mentally. it really just depends how much you enjoy them. anything that you find yourself doing regularly and feel bad when going off schedule with is an addiction. if you play basketball everyday and then stop for a week and just feel grumpy because you cant play, then you are mentally addicted to basketball, though only very little.

4 a day for 2 weeks, you aren't gonna have withdrawls, but that's pretty close to the limit. Are you gonna miss them? Oh, hell yeah. That's on 5mg pills, 10 mg maybe mild withdrawls. Hydrocodone is just the generic name for vicodin, same thing.

hydrocodone isn't the generic name for vicodin, it's the opiate in vicoden that produces the effects you feel. vicodin also contains tylonol, which can be toxic in high doses. However, 4 pills a day isnt gonna do that, but taking tylonol constantly for a long period of time ( like a month or more, depending on your age) can cause liver damage. But back to the question, no you probably wont get addicted, most people don't. You might have a mild withdrawel upon stopping, but I dont think you have to worry about addiction.

my bottle of generic vicodin 10's has "hydrocodone" on it...and yes, it is very addictive, which is why almost evryone who have been on them for a length of time HAVE withdrawls when getting off them. if you have chronic pain which needs a regular dose to relieve you should ask your doc for percoDAN or one of the contins. acetometaphin is one of the worst things you can put into your body long term...
4 pills/day is the standard dose (1 every 4-6 hours) and the withdrawl is no worse than any other opiate but it will be there if not careful!

Ill tell you from working 5 yrs as a certified pharmacy tech.. Vicodin is the brand name. the cheaper, yet exactly the same, version is Hydrocodone/Apap. Apap is a technical term for acetametophen(Tylenol) on the bottle there are 2 different strengths that matches up with the way the name is typed..10/325. 10mg of hydrocodone, 325mg of tylenol. If you build up a tolerence to the hydrocodone and start to take in more your literally shitting out your kidneys from all the tylenol youre taking in. Be sure to limit yourself...Your getting real dangerous when youre taking in 1200mg of tylenol. But dont let yourself go to where your taking more then 10 at a time.. Speaking from personal experience from addiction you can build yourself up and have a tolerence so strong for it that its possible for someone of 160 pounds to take up to 50 at one time. But Im paying for it now.. :( And the withdrawls from the addiction I had were cold chill, insomnia, hot flashes, severly achy all over, and feeling nauseated..felt like the flu..

Very addictive. Narcotics aren't something you want to mess with. What if you get into a horrible car wreck and the paramedics are pushing pain meds and you can't feel a thing because your tolerance is so high? Not something you want to mess with.

I've known many a pillhead and there is no way that the amount you stated comes close to addiction. Addicts will spend at least 300 dollars a day to feed their habit. What you've described just sounds like a good time to me.

Believe you me....taking the hydrocodone was fun, in fact I loved it...and at times still crave it. :( but when it gets to the point where youre swallowing half a bottle to feel that buzz, and then the buzz only last for an hour or two, its not worth shitting out your kidneys and fucking up your liver..

Not exactly, vicodin (or it's generic equivalent) is hydrocodone mixed with a shitload of tylenol. So far as I know, there are no purely hydrocodone pills on the market. I kinda hope I'm wrong, 50mg IV sounds pretty tempting.

Youre right, there are no pills strictly made of hydrocodone. While the most popular is hydrocodone/apap 10/325, there is also Hydrocodone/ibuprofen. if you can find the hydrocodone with ibuprofen instead of tylenol it'll be a bit easier on your body than Hydrocodone/apap.
