Hey DarkFire, I used to live in Naperville and graduated from Waubonsie Valley HS. Wasn't too bad when I was there but that was 17 years ago. Is the Riverwalk Park still there? I remember it used to be stoner central on Fri-Sat nights. Everyone was always pretty mellow so the cops didn't hassle us too much. Wow, thinking about it brings back some great memories.

Hey dude I've lived in Naperville my whole life, and it's pretty boring but not too bad. I go to college in Rock Island so I've been in nville all summer and thought I'd be pretty bored, but some of my tokin buddies from school that live in the area introduced me to a buddy of theirs who deals and is our age and has his own apartment so I just go there every night and get completely blazed. You just need to network and find more stoners in the area.. trust me they're out there.
I have smoked at the riverwalk, but I don't recommend it. It was a stupid decision by me, I'm lucky we didn't get caught. Just don't smoke anywhere near downtown, there are po-po everywhere. And it definitely used to be 'stoner central' but then the city spent millions making it nicer and more similar to Chicago so now it's Yuppy Central and it's all restaurants and shopping and wannabe-Chicago. Also meaning the traffic down there is hella busy... it's just frustrating. So now I just bake before I go down there, if I have to.

Damn, it sounds as if a lot has changed since I left way back when. I left just as they were building the new police station. I think it was off Oswego or Aurora or something like that. I remember thinking it sucked because it was pretty much across the street from me.
What about the Mcdowell Grove Forest Preserve? We used to head out there everyday after school to get high and play frisbee in this big field they had out in the middle.
Do they still have that toboggan slide out near Joiliet or Morris? Not sure exactly where it was but it was on a big hill near the river. It was made out of wood and when it got cold enough they would start to pour water on it so it was practically like a bobsled run. It didn't seen to safe though and the way people are about sueing each other I wouldn't surpised if they shut it down. Damn that was a lot of fun.

fengzi - honestly i can't remember and have no clue about the stuff you're talking about. me and a friend found one tiny forest preserve off jefferson and sat and smoked 2 bowls and got ripped as hell. but yeah downtown naperville is so sickly yuppy-central. naperville is now known as the 'kid friendliest city in the us' and is just crawling with soccer moms and SUVs. i mean, downtown there are THREE starbuck's, like 20 restaurants, quite a few bars, really expensive condos now, and tons of shopping... also a huge new parking building. it's crazy busy on weekends and basically all the fucking time.
phoenix - that's awesome, they're nice guys and played some good music.
