Could someone give me some info on MH?

I was just wondering if someone could give me some info on mh's.I was planning on getting a 400w hps, but someone told me that a MH was way better. ok this is thrus( ;) ) what i need to know:Are there any different things between the 2 bulbs? such as heat difference, or anything in that sort.could you please let me know. THANX

Stick with your floros for vegging, and buy an hps for flowering. That is your best bet. Mh bulbs are good for one thing only, the vegging stage. Using an Mh bulb during flowering will produce fuck all. Good luck.

Or get a HPS with enhanced spectrum bulbs like Horitulx bulbs. You can use one bulb from vegetation to harvest.

Stick with florescent light for clones and seedlings.

hps has more lummes {light,less heat}
MH has more heat with a lot of lummes in the blue spectem
MH is cheeper then hps {hidh preshure sodium}
