The cover of this week's issue, on the newsstands now, of TimeOut New York has actress Mary-Louise Parker, from the new TV show Weeds (on Showtime). In bold green and yellow letters are the words "STONED IN THE CITY - 37 summer activities that are better when you're baked."

There are also recommendations of things to do and see in New York City while high, info about NYC possession laws, and an item regarding progress in the medical m front (unfortunately, NYC is just not happening in this area).

This magazine is basically advertisements; this week the focus is on stoning.

There is a "Baking utensils" list: "This dope gear lets you get high in style", "a smart buyer's guide to styles, shops, sales and services" - and features reasonably-priced pipes, ashtrays, scales, rollers, trays, etc.

Well, itâ??s always nice to see good press in a popular magazine.

I don't care, it's awesome being high in a first-floor apartment to walking down the street with a joint (don't recommend it), to puffin' in the park. I don't care that when I got high there was 50 floors of apartments on all sides that could just look outside the window and see my puffin'.
When I go to New York my focus is always puffin'. My sister's connection would deliver to me while she's at work.
The most-popular people smoke weed while others don't mind. That's a big difference from a little town where their main goal is to 'clean' up the place.
"Weeds" is gonna be a hit and I think Kevin Nealon is cool as shit.

In a week or two it will be available as a back issue, for seven dollars; it's not worth it unless you are coming to NYC for a visit, or live here.

Maybe the articles will be archived online eventually, but I'm not familiar with their website.
